  1. Have a grate time and remember to post a report, but no taking pictures while driving allowed!
  2. I wonder if Matt Edge will rent some Castles for skiing at Breckenridge. I hear they're the best skis around.
  3. I haven't checked but I think we will get all rain and next week in Breckenridge I will get at least one googolplex feet of perder
  4. If you go to Elk or Bear Creek some day your next carton of Yoo-Hoo is on me.
  5. Whoops, I forgot about your Colyrad-do trips. I checked your stats and the last time you skied at a different mountain within Pennsylvania, other than Blue Mountain, was over 12 years ago, in 2011 - with one small exception when you skied Camelback in April 2019, due to the True Mountain being closed.
  6. Grilled Steeze only skis at Blue and Jackson Hole.
  7. Me, you, RidgeRacer and MattEdge should book a hotel room at the water park lodge base and we can ski all the perder. Maybe Atomic Skier will bring some extra Castle skis for us all for when it's deeeeeeeep. Then we can all split a hot cocoa 5 ways to save a few pennies
  8. March 20-24 are when I'm skiing the Breckenridge perder so this is getting good
  9. Yeah I'll be really triggered. I might just hire someone to do the work because I don't wanna.
  10. They probably want to groom early so there's lots of fresh perder (like, one inch deep)
  11. Thanks, maybe use telegram or Indian smoke signals.
  12. Word on the street is @NMSKI might take me off ignore to read my Breckenridge report. The chance is one in a million... so he's telling me there's a chance!
  13. This is grate. Matt Edge tried the Cãstle skiz.
  14. Placed my bets on JF today and it was just OK... not Grate like on Tuesday. They must have groomed after some snowfall because the snow on the trails was about half as deep (3") as the snow in the parking lot (6"). Got there at 8:00 sharp and immediately hiked the steep hill to the Expert Lift (eastern side) for a nice fresh untracked run down Floyd's. It was grate. Then met up with a friend of a friend, who is now a friend, and we skied an untracked River Shot which was amazing. Those were the only 2 untracked runs really. It got crowded faaaast and by 9:30 there were about 100 people in line. The A-Lift was INOP for the morning which made it exhausting to traverse to the western slopes, which were less crowded and skied just as nice as the X-Pert slopes. We left after 2 hours since the short runs and loooong lift rides started to get boring. Also the snow wasn't deep enough for glades like Happy Land. All in all an OK day at JF, JAD-IP.

  15. Yes. I'm going to write a report in the Jackson Frost thread. About 5 inches in MacAdoodle.
  16. Grate Report. I think tomorrow will be totally rad at Blue Mountain the True Mountain, which will likely be my last day skiing in PA this season, unless any resort makes it to April.
  17. That's pretty hardcore. I need a day to rest and do nothing even if my return flight boards at 11 AM and lands at 2 PM. Plus that's insane to unpack your skis and ski clothes and go skiing after flying. I need to systematically organize my luggage and reset from flying mode to local skiing mode, and that takes at least one full day.
  18. @GrilledSteezeSandwich This is how Breckenridge experts dress. I might buy such attire and look professional too.
  19. Why are you in JT? Are you looking for snow covered ski hills to ski down? I have to drive by that train every day I drive to Blue, Da True.
  20. Correct. Even up here in the highlands of MacAdoodle, the snow is wet and heavy unlike the magical weightless fluffy western perder I skied last Tuesday.
  21. It is DUMPING in the mountains. 2-3 inches already in MacAdoodle. JFBB may get 6 inches
  22. Be sure to check the "No, I am unable to attend" box on the RSVP message to let them know you're unable to attend.
  23. What do you look at for the weather forecast? I looked at Wunderground for Palmerton and Blakeslee, and Blakeslee looks better. Tomorrow I'm planning on going where the snow is, though if it's wet and heavy snow that isn't much fun.
  24. Forecast for Palmerton isnt looking so good... Rain mixed in with snow until after midnight. Blakeslee looks better so maybe Jack Frost will be the place to be??
