1. I always took GSS as a “I thinks it, I says it” kind of guy
2. Top 5 day for me as well. Snow and people watching were awesome
3. Left this morning with a sunny sky 34° and arrived to cloudy 25°. Guns blazing at the top of most runs, all of Sidewinder, and one on homestretch. Sidewinder was closed, along with Razors which had no activity on it. About two dozen people on the snow for opening. Thanks to the gates being open before 9, TP4 and I got first chair. First run on Challenge was a carpet and really good. Lapped that again and then started working our way across the mountain. Bumps were gone on Main St but they had them on Nightmare. NM/DW was bulletproof but everything else was nice to ride. Met up with@Benm around 10 for some runs and then I ledr for work at 1040. Glad to see Blue didn’t give up on winter. There was talk on the lift that they didn’t blow after Presidents’ Day last year.
4. First couple runs tonight were good but as soon as the snow hit the shadows during sunset, it froze. Says it’s 37° and real feel is 30°. Razors is closed. Some high school kids tried to get 7 on the lift but got stopped before it even got to them. The liftee let them have it for making the line longer and it was already back to the gates. Ended up lapping the Main St lift a couple times since the 6 pack kept stopping. Two year old Sculpin bottles are still available at Slopeside if you want to watch a beer fountain. Grabbing a Perpetual and a bite and Mrs Mute is trying to convince me to not go back out. At least with frozen conditions I won’t have to use 4 wheel drive to get out of the mud lot.
5. I have yet to see a stuck vehicle but I’m sure it happens. jfskidan can’t you fix this for them?
6. $120 for a single rider in Hilton Head. $130 for a double. What a steal!
7. I’m sure Blue will be sad to see him go.

Elk Day 2020

11. Arrived at 530 and in the house was Mrs Mute and Ryan. First day back at Blue from JH and it started with wet mashed potatoes. No real lift lines until ski clubs were finished with dinner. We went to Slopeside for a bite and beer when the quad line got deep. Went with Ballast Point Sculpin that overflowed with foam immediately. Checked the date and was bottled 8/28/18 [emoji15] Bartender was super nice and took care of it, no hard feelings. Went back out until 845. No real crowds and the temp dropped so it was more sugar sugar then before. Ski instructor training was doing their edge to edge snake on again. Cool. They were on Dreamweaver this time and when I saw them it was next to the skier cross start where half the trail is already closed so they just blocked everyone. No life at the 6 pack. Hopefully it gets back running soon.

Elk Day 2020

I didn’t it push it at work since I was just off last week. I hope the weather you catch a break in the weather because this week sucks. Have fun boys and girls.
13. Nice pics! Sitting in Chicago waiting for my connection at the moment. It was an awesome couple days with a great crew. I went over to the 49er for some free breakfast this morning and then walked around town until I headed to the airport. I hope you boys get some more freshies before you leave!
14. Last day for me and a bunch of fun with this group.
15. One of the few times I didn’t do the Jackson carry. Ryan taught me, I’ll get him on NM
16. Sully landing in the Hudson deserved a clap but I think they stiffed him.
17. Damn Jerry’s. Sending good vibes. Hopefully you’ll be out there soon.
