I don’t smoke and I prefer Canada doesn’t pollute my safe space with smoke. It’s the East Coast, It always rains.

Unofficial Blueberry season total so far 14.5 gallons. I only picked about 3 . Friends and family have been busy. Picked a quart of black raspberries today. I forgot they were around and a little dry but tasty.

My curiosity got me thinking. I found this picture from a different angle but it was there but maybe smaller.

I don’t remember the larger lake in the 90’s Doe mountain “ On the right “I think it might have been added when Bear Creek took over. There’s another pond north (right) of the lodge and a smaller one by the base lot. I have seen the lots filled up and shuttle buses running to the upper lots on weekends. I don’t make the effort to go when it’s that crowded.

And the NY license plates. Nice hazy picture. Air Quality sucks again up to 164 I saw a bunch of pipe in the East end of the lot . I think they might be upgrading snowmaking. .

Wow some serious storm! Also looks like Canadas still on fire coast to coast.

The Smoke is back but not to the apocalyptic degree. I wanted to fly a cross country flight yesterday but turned around at Kutztown because the visibility was crap . decent day but bad in areas, later in the day things improved but still damn haze . It’s still hanging around today ☹️I hope it rains more in Canada .

The dry weather didn’t stunt the blueberries just made them sweeter. Picked a gallon tonight. I interrupted a mama box turtle digging a hole.

Spent too much time on the Cannon summit hike. It didn’t leave enough time to make some turns off the auto road . Had all my ski gear too .

Damn , just walked out on my porch and started coughing from the smoke. Looks like we’re not even in the worst of it. .

You guys are leaving beer money on the table . Pick a local auction place and drop it off , they get 40% but sometimes you get 2 people who really want your junk and they get into a bidding war and pay too much. Over the years I've sold thousands on Ebay but it got to be a pain so I just drop stuff off.

Yeah blooms as in flowers but I'm familiar with the bloom you mentioned above. Sometimes it's tough to tell if they're ripe .It fools the Blue jays too I've seem plenty of berries with beak marks . I planted different varieties so they they don't all get ripe at one time . Some are small and a few bushes are quarter size unfortunately they don't produce a lot . My kids all hate Blueberries lol .
