Blue will start making snow right around Thanksgiving. BB will have a slice of white open right after Thanksgiving. JF will start making snow last couple days of November. Camelback will announce they will open Monday, with a hike park on the tubing slope, but blow a pipe in the process, just basically making a huge winter time water park, and again be ridiculed on social media. Bear will start making snow on December 15th after importing cold water from Canada to enhance snowmaking even further with last years purchase of "Mr Chilly", the water cooler. Spring Mt will have the haul cables back up on the lifts by December 20th. Montage will start making snow December 12th, after a constant barrage of social media saying "what the fuck are you guys waiting for"? Elk will eventually make snow after they are done planting more trees. This will come as a huge surprise to everyone as to when they make snow, since the fourth grader that designed their website forgot the password and cant update anything there, and still is not old enough to use facebook. SallyCat will not end up skiing with any knuckledragging, narrowmidnded, fuckfaces from PASR.

i think its kinda snowing in the Poconos.

Lots of the precip on the radar is not hitting the ground. it is snowing pretty good out in johnstown/altoona. i look at these cameras all the time.

What about Big Boulder?

I might not be the most qualified to answer this, but from my dealings with central booking, i think its yes, they do have a shuttle, but it might not be the most convenient way to get back and forth. I think the taxi option is the preferred method of travel.

If you believe the hour by hour forecast, they have a decent window to get snow on the tilted tabletop.

i have 2-3 pairs in my closet that fit the bill for this. probably really not worth more than $50. And if they are, then the time it would take to sell them would totally offset that.

I guess i would rather see them spend money on a groomer rather than "planting more trees".

There is a discount with season pass as well. I had a pair of skis tuned somewhere else beginning of last season, that shop made them practically un-skiable. I felt going back to where they were tuned was only going to end up in a weird confrontation. Blue straightened them out. I would use them again.

the way i look at that its 1 pass to JF or BB. But i guess it could be 2. If its 1, i still dont see it as a great deal.

Skisalottosavealot would be proud of you. Blues tent sale is pretty good. Pretty deep discounts. Nothing for me, but i think its like the skiers version of black friday shopping.

Thats about it. and even at that, you could easily grab discount tix for both for about $99.
