Yes my *skis* made it through safe. My new padded Volkl double ski bag helped with that. Great FA's ORD-JAC. She laughed at the Ski-UI joke after pouring my 3rd glass of wine.

When we turned off the runway, I could see it was completely snow covered. On touchdown, thrust reversers deployed immediately, and they nailed the brakes hard. We stopped about as fast as we possibly could. UA guys were playing it safe

Apparently this happened yesterday morning. The AA 757 arrives first, followed by a Delta 757, then the UA 757. Both had to be diverted to Denver I think. Someone happened to be recording the landing...the pilot said the brakes failed according to the newspaper in Jackson, but it looks more like the thrust reverseres came on WAY too late, almost at the end of the runway. For those of you who are interested...

The old blue system worked well for this. I had it in a pass pocket inside my jacket. I just flipped the bottom of my jacket up 2 inches, and there was my pass. I also don't understand why people link their season passes to their credit cards for food purchases. Is it that hard to keep your wallet on you? I'd rather have it on me then leave it in my car...Blue has had their share of break ins in their parking lot (hence all the lot attendants walking around).

ya...the whole "don't punch a hole in it" is BS...the RFID chip is the size of an ant. My aspen pass, which is made by the exact same company, has a huge fckin hole punched in the top of it.

Roads were completely empty this morning at 8:45am...my smoothest drive to work ever. Even stopped to take some pictures The garage at work had like 4 cars in it (usually 100% full by 9am). JADIP.

the whole point of the new RFID system is so you don't have to keep it on the exterior of your jacket...in a secure pocket somewhere. I never even wore my old season pass on the exterior of my jacket due to the possibility of losing it.

It was windy on Monday...wasn't really a problem. The wind wasn't bad on homestretch. Coming off Challenge/Falls, I had plenty of speed into the lift today...a non issue.
