  1. lol, no crap I do. I KNOW im doing that. I'm doing it on purpose. I'm not always arcing.
  2. 157's aren't too short cause Atomics make such good skis
  3. ahh, you're making me spend too much money. I have decided, as much as I hate to do it, and as much as I hate to admit it, I am going to get a job this summer . I need to buy too many skis Next years quiver: 176cm GS:11s & 165cm SL:11
  4. Access? I got lost going to and from Bear Creek. At least going I had a reference point, the trail lights. Going home I was so clueless. I won't tell you where I ended up
  5. yea, that annoucer was good, "Strapping young 16 yr old Skidude from BC in the start"
  6. lines? Last PASR day, which was at Montage, there were no lines
  7. Well that's up in the air, but I don't think I'll be able to make it up this weekend, sorry guys
  8. only if you have the proper credentials
  9. I must say, I liked Montage alot better. Probably because it was in the day, and the trail that it was on was STRAIGHT. I think i was thinking less at Montage, I just stepped up and skied, as proof by my second run @ Montage. Maybe that, and the conditions were absoloutly perfect at Montage. I knew what I was doing wrong at Bear Creek, but it was just too short to really capitalize on not making a mistake. The run where I actually skied my problem turn well, I only shaved a few hundreths off. My first run at montage was over 30 seconds, my next run was a 29.24. I was confident that I could break 29 seconds. Oh well, it was fun.
  10. You just had an off night, at least at Montage we warmed up before NASTAR on some REAL trails. I jumped right onto the race course. I should've dropped the sweatshirt, and just raced in my longsleve shirt, as I did at Montage. O well.
  11. $20 is a pretty good price for lift ticket + unlimited NASTAR runs. I'd do it again in a heart beat, I just need to find a better way to get there....
  12. Skimom, word has it you wore the speed suit just to make sure Ty wouldn't beat you
  13. DEFINATLY worth the drive! It's a great mountain
  14. she was a blast! And a pretty good skier. That second run, even Skimom said to me "Shes going pretty fast"....and she was, she was flying (set her all time low HC)....but you have taught her well ski999, she knows that Atomics are the best.
  15. I would've liked to seen a 20.11 by him that night. When Ski999 doesn't break a 20 HC, you know somethings up
  16. that IS one nice lodge, I must say.
  17. My friend may do it, but i'll be there, just skiing.
  18. That girl is so funny. She was so funny, especially when she was talking about how great Atomics are. Adam didn't like that too much Results are up! I BEAT SKI999! Adam had the fastest time of the night, I had the 5th, Ski999 had the 6th
  19. I think i suprised skidude when he walked out of the start house, and guess who was standing there, he looked right at me, and I had to say his name, before he could comprehend that i actaully showed up.
  20. yea, from just riding the lift @ BC, their park looked really nice.
  21. Well Ski999, and his daughter, myself, skidude, and skimom had some fun at Bear Creek tonight. ski999's daughter is a piece of work, and unfortunatly skimom was having some equipment problems, but not a bad night, I wish I would've skied better though
  22. Ski999, you can relax now, as I will smoke your "enemy" tonight for you (assuming you bring the fluro ). Did I hear you say Ty was aiming to beat Skimom?
  23. Actaully, I was applying it for one day. However, if they changed a hole, and made it shorter for the next day, then the course may be a par 71, but it would stay that for the whole day. And the next day maybe the whole was made into a par 5, and it became a par 73. My point was that the golf course starts the day at a certain par, and it stays that come hell or high water. Sure, if someone could redesign a golf course, as quickly as you can set a race course, then yes, the par would change, but it would remain the same for the whole time the golf course / race course was in that setup.
  24. I was dinkin about it, and let me compare it to golf: When you start the day, the course is of course, a Par 72. As the sun comes out, the greens dry out and the wind picks up. Just because two uncontrollable forces of nature happened to occur, doesn't mean the par of the course changes. It can be pooring rain, with 100 mph winds, and that same course is a Par 72, regardless of how conditions change. Let's apply that to NASTAR. He pacesets the course when nobody else has run it. In theory, that is the fastest time he could achieve on that newly set course. Let's say Tiger shoots a 72 in the morning in ideal condition. It does not mean, he couldn't come back, later that day, and shoot a 69. He IS the best in the world (well V-jay is offically). Just because the pace setter (in theory, a slower version of Rahlves) skis a slower time when the course is fresh, doesn't mean that's the fastest he'll ever ski the course, it is the fastest time he can ski the course, in THOSE conditions. It is the way it is done at every resort. The pacesetter runs first, and that's it. The greens may firm up, and the race course peaks, some people just do better in different conditions. You can not try to overcome nature. Sh*t happens.
