yupp, exactly. They have a double chair lift...The lift only opens on friday nights and weekends. Ski999 uses it as his place to ski after everywhere else closes. So if you think you're going to end up with the most days for the season, chances are, you won't, I'm pretty sure he does "glacier style" skiing into May.

for once in my life, i won't be at blue in the morning on Saturday, but i will be there...have to go pick up some new wheels in NY saturday morning....

I think Elk will, and the earliest blue will close is the 27th. I wouldn't be surprised if they stayed open until the 3rd..

Camelback has annouced plans to stay open until Saturday, March 26th.

I remember you saying "it's nothing structural" so when I started drilling, i got a little nervous when metal shavings started coming out. I think there is a piece of metal in there just to give it support i guess, but I just kept on drilling.

this has been an outstanding March for all moutains. The average high in March is mid 40's, and the new few days, it's still in the low 30's. Hopefully mountains will have a good weekend (not too great, I want my mountain back)....that a late march / first week in April closing will be feasible.

it's Ski999's private mountain in his community He skis into May there I believe, and when the snow melts, he breaks out the grass skis. It must be nice having a few slopes in your back yard

oh, the obnoxious guy . What's wrong with them, Skimom? It would be one thing if the guy had really good prices on then, but from what that women said that we were talking too, they were still kind of pricey She was really pushing them though...Did you buy them from him skimom?

I didn't think we owned a drill. At first it wasn't drilling, because I had it in reverse. I got it working eventually.

After suggesting it to me on Saturday while we were locking up our skis, I thought, "Wow, what a great idea". A little backround: Atomic's bindings have to be the worst design for locking the skis together, and for locking them. It makes having ski straps needed each time you transport the skis, and it's an extra hassle when trying to lock them. SOO, with Ski999's idea, I took out the drill, and well, drilled away. I think I achieved exactly what I wanted to do, make locking my Atomics a helluva lot easier...

they are freakin dark as hell, especially at night. I'm gunna get a pair of wisdoms for the night.

haha, even I was complaining at Tanglwood cause the conditions were TOO good, the snow was sooo soft and very very fresh. I like that scraped off stuff, thats not ice, but it's grippy, thats the ideal stuff, cause it doesn't slide/break away.

What do you ski on? I'd like to see how they fare against my Atomics, since you seem to talk such a good game. Next wednesday perhaps? The only people who have the right to say things about my skiing are the people who have beaten me. Those people include Adam, Ski999, and your son. You want to talk? You beat me.

Great job... btw, verification of speed ? I'm not fast at all. I've only raced 3 NASTAR's in my life. So I'm no racer, with those handicaps though, he should do pretty well in comparison to Adam, so that should be a real verification of his speed.

i told him too, he didn't have anymoney, i think he ended up sharing w/ someone.

He's really good, and to think he almost couldn't participate cause he didn't have his helmet with him. He wanted to use mine, but #1, my heads to dam big, and #2, I wasn't givin up my helmet
