"trails that turn" is a good call. The north / south staircase trails become a bit mundane after a while. Skiing an Elk or a Blue after a while at frost is a whole new world. If the trees, elevator, risk it, mad trees go, so does the beauty of Jackson Frost.

Pray for tips. Some people tip. Most do not. Teaching is alot of work for not a lot of money. The "perk" is the free season pass but when it's busy you're not doing much skiing.

Groomed or ungroomed, What makes switchback and NMDW special is that they both have character. Not many trails in PA can make that claim.

Switchback is way too fun to get sketched with the freeze /thaw that will inevitably occur. I'm intrigued by the the idea though. I'd nominate widowmaker as guinea pig trail.

It was so good tonight that I forgot it was Dec 13th. Great snow everywhere with the exception of upper main which was marbley. Lazy was so on point. No crowds at all. GSS, AtomicSkier, George (is he on PASR?) and the man, the myth, the legend himself... Saltyant were all in the house. Best part of the evening... Saltyant: "wow... you guys are awesome skiers!" AtomicSkier: "I know I am". Haha. Great night session fellas.
