I can't tonight but I'm thinking of tomorrow or Thursday evening if anyone will be around.

Who said that florescent is gone. Some dude at frost on Sunday broke out his finest purple one piece and the 205 straight sticks. His skis were so attached together when he turned that it looked like he was on a uni-ski. It was totally awesome.

Jack frost 12-15 after the storm
RidgeRacer replied to RidgeRacer's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Let me just say that jfbb really need to get their shit together website wise. I almost didn't go this morning when I logged on at 8am and every East mountain trail was listed as closed. I just figured I'd pass. If I didn't text Jfdan this morning, I would have missed out on a stellar day. How hard is it to keep their customers informed as to what is opening up and when? I love jack frost but the site is just pathetic. -

They were crusty. Once it got cut up they (the trees) were great. That was pretty much the story everywhere. T bolt became chopped up powder and was the run of the day. -

River shot is groomed and the elevator is "closed" to gapers only. They have sticks in front of it but it's actually skiing really well. Dan the man on Vader -
Yay for groomed powder. Although it isn't advertised in the site, east is open and it appears to be untouched. Meeting Dan the man at the top. More to come...

Just took a ruler to the deck. 7 inches so far.

Still coming down hard.

Dumpage in the poconos. Time for sledding with the little ones.

Someone tell PA road dawg to come post some stoke here.

Nice. 5th pic down should be in a frame hanging on a wall.

I don't want a season pass. If I get one it'll be a midweek pass next year.

I'll come to blue if you buy me a ticket. ;-)

From what I heard the snow won't start falling until late Saturday. Sunday morning is gonna be the powder day according to the news this morning. Looking like I'll be at frost Sunday since tomorrow is jam packed with things to do.

Awesome! Welcome to PASR.

My bad. I'll post up next time. Honestly it was a last minute decision to ski. I was just going to meet MBike (nice to meet you and the Mrs. tonight sir) to pick up my passes and head home then I decided to put my shit on in the lot. So glad that I did. Lazy mile skiers right under the trees was the absolute shit. Main street was good too. My toes were numb when I left but it was worth it (the car showed 11 degrees). It's official, I'm updating my thing and listing blue as a co-home mountain.

It's amazingly nice out here at Blue this fine evening

Potential for some fresh this weekend

This is sweet. CBS deals sold out right quick.

It could have happened to anybody. What he hit was buried under the snow. No one saw it
-
Yep. The helmet saved his life. That or it saved him from a serious injury. Powder country is complete wilderness. There wasn't anyone around for miles. We would have had to make our way out of it, then wait for the bus to get help. I'm pretty sure cell phone reception was non existent.

Nothing here. Anybody see what's happening at this eagles game? We're definitely not getting that here. They're getting pounded down there.

Just got back. Met up with Dan and PC at 8 and we lapped challenge, Dematte's, One Park for the most part. The snow wasnt as good as it looks in that picture. It had it's far share of ice, ruts and chunks. It was fast though so blasting down challenge was hella fun. The outter edge of Happyland was actually skiable and the snow in there was half decent so there were some trees to be had. In all it was a nice day of skiing with great company.
