  1. wow, google is buggin. on a different computer so i guess i never noticed it? these ads are out of control.
  2. so, are there ads on here now? i dont know what just happened but i got ads as i scrolled through a thread a minute ago. wtf yea what the fuck ads.
  3. its only a stigma if you think its a negative thing... besides, it matters what is produced. your work is on display. you could say the same thing about kitchen workers but you know what... stoned mexicans can make some bomb food.
  4. maybe my posts on here is why no one wants me working on their parks.
  5. little quick to judge arent we? kind of hard to tell with the airbag in the way.
  6. i guess the whole point was money... yea it takes money but thats the whole point of having people who know what theyre doing. im not saying you guys dont know how to build stuff, just saying... use your talent and work smart, itll take less time.
  7. not necessarily. 200-500 yards of snow for a dimensional lip (plus the easy push for the foundation) with a cat op who knows where to put the mass and then a crew of 3 diggers. its not like it takes 3 days to set a 6 foot wall up with transitions. you need to shut down a park if a cat is on it. not diggers. so just shut a feature down every now and then and work during the day. no need for OT or night work. for some stuff it would take longer yea, but so what. just depends on what kind of park youre trying to create i guess. maybe im too ambitious, idk. honestly though, park crew consists of stoned kids thinking of setups so its not like you have to actually work at design in an office and pay them 15 dollars an hour for blueprints. i think people just need to realize what it takes to build a park and be OK with it gettin shut down one or two days a week to build up/move around. youre park doesnt need to be open 7 days a week in PA. just let people know when it will close on facebook or whatever.
  8. moving on to some constructive mind shitting... walls arent dying though, theyre just turning sideways. which is awesome. id like to see some hills gettin into different builds/setups and not just features. meaning - take an ordinary feature but set it up with different lips/lines that create more than one way to hit it. quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, decagon etc etc. a flat rail is a flat rail. a flat rail on a 10 sided lip is amazing. that even allows you to ad more than one feature, to create 2 features, in one hit. and so on. i realize creativity is up to the rider but how many times can you stall on a 6 foot wide, 5 foot high wall and not get bored? up, down, slide 2 feet around... setup becomes the creative part. incorporate snow into your jib setups is what im saying. transitions and not just lips. you guys always do nice work though.
  9. do you even drink water anymore bro?
  10. walked around REI the other day. was the first time i got acquainted with ski gear in a bit. saw oakley airwaves and decided i will probably never give a shit about how i look on the hill again.
  11. (obligatory hate) i really dont understand how no one in PA has the capability to make a proper wall ride.
  12. youre not skiing opening weeked in PA because you have a boot fitting appointment? is there a bidet in your bimmer?
  13. in case anyone is wondering, rental fleets of large size are usually torque tested by people drunk/stoned people as well like johnny said source: I dont think one ski torqued passed. i mean, they all passed, but i couldnt tell you if it was accurate or not. sign your life away!
  14. i belt waxed around 2500 skis on a mind altering substance one time for a rental fleet. was great.
  15. the only reason im posting this shitty pic is because its not MT, CO, or north east. this is what i imagined it coming out like close enough.
  16. was going to take sunrise/set photos but it started rainng. sometime this week.
  17. this was a week ago apparently.
  18. the boys must be mourning the loss of fluffy.
  19. it was an 80 hour train ride. details escape me. from the website.... between Havre, MT and Minot - the Nez Peirce National Historic Park – Bear Paw National Battlefield, i was really dissapoited i missed everything though. it got dark before we entered whitefish so i missed all the good stuff in MT. comin into portland was banger though. oh, border patrol came on and swiped some guy in malta too. we were refueling and that happened.
  20. i guess ill ease up. nestors can fit boots great. those guys know what theyre doing. but... they sell and start with the wrong boot. i should not have been put in langes. my feet permanently changed shaped. they love langes. loft just seems like a guy owned a shop and said to his 15 year old kid "you do this"
  21. it was around 9 when we rolled through so i didnt see anything. from havre to whitefish amtrack has a tour guide come on. was sweet.
  22. at what point do you say "We've made enough improvements. This time, lets just rebuild everything."
  23. i thought the grocery store was called LFA'S for a bit because i didnt look at the other side.
