Mybe i'll ctach some of you out on the mtb trails - headin up to jburg right now to for a spin to try to work some of this phlegm out
  2. its rideable with a hard tail- challenging but definately rideable. I would call it good ol' PA technical rocky xc as there a few drops but alternates around them

  4. Epic ....Conditions ....pretty much sums the weekend up right now, Friday night spinning around the block on the new ride (xam! were cookin like freakin emeril) inthe snow - sucking wind pretty quick! Saturday fresh 6-8" superlight poe at greek peak NY made for fresh tracks all over the mountiain in the morning - made the super sucky super early drive worth while - gotta love the grooming / lack of up there! Light snow aLL morning and a hungover(?) pacetter made the nasty-R runs before lunch pay off with some bogus bling . Ended the day with a few top to bottom bumped up runs on the shaped up, smooth and creamy moguls feelin like effin Jonhenyy effin Mosley on the buttery zipper line! back in a flash for the killer Liberty HS band concert ( really hard not to be impressed by thes kisda and the whole production). Sunday chillin with the neghborhood kids on the local sled hill crackin up at he crash and burns followed by Geezer Hockey League playoffs at there finest - hard fought battle but it sucks to be on the losing end- oh well niothing but a few Labatts wont fix. Stopped at Wegmans for a few Lenten shrimp. Smothered em with old bay an and turn on the weather channnel to see if I'm bikin' or skiing this week to find a show called Epic Conditions (Hence the thread name) on mountain biking in Moab - super sweet footy with hans rey getting me pumped to get back on the bike even thought they followed it with a forcast that doesnt' look particularly good for bike or boards - but we'll make it happen! oh shit its almost 1 workls gonna suck tommorow......................peace

  14. Will be up later tonight with the kidskeez, it should be good since it seemed like most of schools are done? it was pretty dead up there last night...
  15. grill-D, no love for the nastar this year?
  16. Im gonna try to get in some am runs...
  17. Yeah the sale going through this weekend was definatley the buzz on the mountain with the consensus being that it is a good thing according to the staff and park crew that i talked to...this was our second year going back and we have had great experiences both times. when i chose it last year it was sort of based on being trial / stepping stone for "bigger and better" but it really provides all the accomodations, good lessons, "feel" and terrain for a great family trip and may definatley go again next year

    Mt Snow

A quick presidents day trip report: Went up Thursday afternoon and skiied Friday Saturday and Sunday. Trip up was super smooth 4-1/2 hrs, arrived to 20-24" fresh from Valantine day storm - somebody loves me Friday cold (high 10-15)y and overcast lots of fresh snow still to be found along the edges and in the boonies - kids and mrs snowbunski hung tough and skiied 9-4 with a lunch break, minimal crowds. Saturday, different story, clear still cold, an inch or two fresh overnight.Had to go furhter into the woods for fresh, but sweet PP everywhere. crowded but the longest liftlines were maybe 15 minutes and could be totally avoided by skiing corinthia with the girls or north face (us men!) nice soft bumpity bumps forming every where! Hit the mini terrain park after lunch which had a great view of the mad muther hucker big air comp going on. Dem kids is crazy! Got a few more inches Sat night and it snowed lightly all day Sunday (maybe another 3-4") spent most of the day on north face trying to keep up with my 9 yo son - its amzing waht a few half day lessons will do... with a stop in the mini terrain park after lunch and a few nastar runs - had a medal ceramony that night with my son getting a gold and mrs snowbunski and i on the podium with silvers. Our digs were super cool at the comfy Kitzhof Inn - awesome pancakes and super easy mt access rounding out an awesome Prez Day weekend! Left Monday morning - didn't ski - around 11, the temp hovering around -3d
