It'd be worse with gravy, luckily he dislikes it.

Most likely threads are stripped. Blue guys might have helicoil in house or bigger screw to put in there if it's shot.
-
Yeah, without actually seeing the ski/hole/threads, it's a bit hard to tell. If you're gonna be at Blue tomorrow, could take a peek at it then?
-
Same result, meaning the same hole keeps spinning or does the spinning follow the screw? Are the threads in the hole into which the screw is going stripped?
-
Can you try swapping the screws?

Ok

I thought Eaf's been around here longer.

When Sally and Salty joined...

I probably would have driven home barefoot.
-
I recall hearing the same thing. On the big storm the other year, they had them on hold, so I drove back up to the summit in ski boots.

Yeah, I'd say 2-3". Hard to tell with the wind.
-
Not surprising though. I've ridden with so many people that want to lift the bar the moment the chair crests the mountain and the landing comes into view. I usually keep my skis on the footrests just to annoy people who want to lift it so soon. The other day I had some girls freaking out as I kept my skis on the footrest to the very last support.

Snowing like crazy here in Hellertown. Winds picking up.

Look to the sides of Main Street (sometimes Lazy) later in the morning and drop over the spine and pop off the lip back onto the trail to get your feet wet and practice. That way you can pick the size of the jump you want and amount of air you want to get. Then move up to the jumps on Come Around and/or Lower Park. I don't like the way they make the landings at Blue's jumps, as they're too close and I always fly them and land on the flats. Yeah, I know, slow down, but what fun is that!

Fixed it for you.

Hoo boy, I'm surprised Salty hasn't looked into this to improve his carving ability... https://usa.getcarv.com/

Just like skiing at Blue!

It's usually the teflon/plastic surface that slows you down. Metal ski edges on metal rail is VERY slicker than snot! Sure it wasn't your ski base running along the rail? That might be slow. I'm waaay too old for rails anymore, although I still envision myself doing them, as I'm very jelly of those that can do them well. Metal contacting flesh/bone is NOT my idea of fun! However, watching others taking a beating entertains me.
-
Yeah, sharp ski edges will catch on nicks in the rail and send you. Rails will destroy the edges of your skis in no time.

Don't you mean a "dollar more than it costs"?
