  1. up-flat rail on the left hip, c-box on the right hip, mini battleship box in the lower park
  2. just ride up it and stall the top... then spin off and hit the landing you just came up
  3. twin tips are skis... no blades. primarily a park ski but many of them have the ability of being a good all-mountain ski like mine are... http://salomonskis.com/
  4. yeah everytime i hit is i just stick to it... its so slow
  5. Just got back from Blue after 3 /12 hours of skiing the park. they have some new features that are pretty sick but the pipe was kinda crappy. they have 3 new rails/boxes that they added within the last 24 hours and they are all pretty sick. conditions werent too bad today but the granular mess has got to go. i think i saw Jeff and Doug go through sidewinder today while i was coming off the battleship box.. i still have no idea who anybody is on this site when out on the slopes except for justo and trevor... even though i'm on here all the time. i dont think there is much of a freeskiing community here on paskiandride in the Blue Mountain forum.....
  6. so true justin, and also, Blue just put in 3 more rails in the last 24 hours.... a C box on the right hip... a up-flat rail on the left hip... and a mini-battleship for beginners
  7. snowblades are the poorman's twintip. if you like to ski the park. get a pair of twins. to be completely honest with you, people don't take snowbladers seriously. they may be cheap, but they are nothing compared to skis. i know from expereience. i bought a pair of snowblades when i was in 6th grade because i couldnt afford skis and it was the worst thing i could have done. the next year i get twins and havent gone back because there really is no reason to.
  8. it looks like Blue is blowing snow right now... i can see it from my bedroom window and from the looks of it, they are blowing possibly on lazy. who knows. i'll find out tomorrow when i get up there.
  9. yeah that happens.... anybody see the new mini-battleship box in the beginner park? its extremely small and sticky. but once it gets broken in it will be god for beginners.
  10. if you dont like Blue's park then dont go there... stay at Bear Creek where the mountain is as big as the hill behind my house.
  11. just got back from Blue now... and i must say.... probably some of the best skiing that i have had all week at Blue. everything was nice and there wasnt any slushy crap at all... plus the park was decent and thats always good
  12. whatever... you get what you get.. even if the trail isnt wide enough the park is still sick. and width shouldnt matter if you have any idea what you are doing in the first place. its jsut good that they have their 45ft table where it is semi-wide
  13. you think they would allow tricycles?
  14. i think i might head up after i pick up my scrubs for school... it might suck but whatever.. i hate sitting at home when i know there is a mountain 7 1/2 minutes away
  15. after this week they are going to completely re-do the park again. there isnt much they can do this week with the conditions and massive amounts of people that dont know how to ski/ride park. even if they would fix it, it would get ruined the next day. they are better off just waiting until this week of hell is over to do anything. i know where you are coming from though... i only took 2 runs through the park today because it was garbage. usually... i only take 2 runs outside of the park... whatever... time to head off to my game... later
  16. dont go Doug, unless you like shlushy death piles across the trail and thousands of people laying on the first headwall of challenge/razors!
  17. i got out of work early today because the census was low... so i think i'm gonna go head up now before my soccer game tonight... hopefully it isnt too bad out there... i might have to park at the lower lodge to make a quick getaway just in case
  18. i think that both Justin and Pete have a clue when it comes to the fit of a boot and how to adjust the pressure that is displaced around the foot... especially since Justin has been working there for 6 years and Pete owns it..
  19. nothin wrong with a little oldschool. hahaa
  20. hahaha yeah... the park was kinda haggard today with the slush and whatnot... still fun though, like always.
  21. i'll be there as long as traffic on 378 and 22 arent bad after i get out of work... i hate hour... but hopefully tons of still people have off from work
  22. instead of calling it powder... i prefer to call it slushy death. i think of powder is a little more fluffy. haha. hopefully when i get up there tomorrow after work it isnt too packed... what was it like around 5:00? cuz thats when i'll be rollin in.
  23. leaving for Killy next monday and skiing tuesday and wednesday and then Bear for the slopestyle...
  24. its probably better that you arent going tomorrow... its gona be packed with all of the New Yorkers off from work and whatnot...
