Fucking olds don’t even wanna ski on weekends. You realize this season at Blue it’s the weekdays that are busy. Anyway I’m out of here no more elk thread for me this season.

I’m not going. Elk doesn’t appeal to me..I’ll just keep skiing Blue and take trips out west. I do think I wanna hit some NY places this winter. It’s like Vermont without the quarentine rules.

Well what’s the point of me going to Elk as I live in Allentown and Blue is 20 miles away and Elk is 100 miles. I skied Elk twice in 1995...been there done that. Blue has more interesting runs and I can ski double as many of them in an hour. Elk does receive more natural snow than Blue but doesn’t allow tree skiing. They also have the lamest website and an even lamer marketing campaign. So anyway I’m happy to never ski elk. @theprogram4will tell you how elk ranks.

If he comes to Blue I’ll come to Elk.

Blue currently has the most open terrain in PA and the most powerful snowmaking system in the state. That’s all I said. Rummy when was the last time you skied at Blue mountain?? You want something nice about Elk, their slow as molasses lifts give your legs plenty of time to rest between runs.

Right on do you think hunter will still be closed on Sunday? Just make sure you put Hunter in the stats so the PA state police doesn’t cum after you.

Lehigh valley airport is doing the rapid 15 minute tests for travelers and non travelers for I believe $89 as well...I would assume you just pay with credit card. If I needed a test I’d go to patient first which is basically my doctor these days as I went there for x rays and when I had bronchitis a few years ago...and I’d just pay with credit card there as they aren’t covered under my health insurance I just go there cause I like it there.

So elk has more snowmaking and more open terrain than blue currently?

Thanks for finding this. Johnny law could probably find Salty some powder baskets for his polls. I find poles to be most useful in the bumps and on flats. To make rhythmic pole plants while blasting down lazy mile is kind of asinine although I’m not a level 2 instructor so what do I know.

I like his steamboat perder video although he sped it up to double time. I’ll be back up at Blue tomorrow for opening. Looks like nice weather. Maybe the guns will be back on for a little refresh.

I haven’t skied fast much this season. Today was probably 85% which is faster than a lot of days. I have been in a tuck maybe twice.

It said they were excluded out of work due to Covid. Maybe they were exposed and are awaiting test results. I wouldn’t have even known about it but there’s a lot of banter about it on alpinezone.
