  6. Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at dark o’clock and it was around 30 degrees under overcast sky’s with increasing winds. In the house were Johnny Law, JFBB Dan, Atomic Jeff, MBike Mike, BenM, PSYFly, Mixilplix, Enjorales dad, Enjorales cousin, Slim, Indiggio, Bethlehem Ford Guy, Justo, Rose, theRealKt, Cuong, Phoeng, Ying and Joan’s husband. First run was challenge which was a western groomer. Second run on challenge almost as good except for the race kid being a trail whore. Both the six pack and quad were running a bit slower maybe 3/4 speed. Main Street was good especially upper left where the Barney’s bumps used to be. Switchback is open now but I didn’t ski it..lazy mile was crazy mile and nice having lower park open. While i skied from 8-9:42am no serious lift lines but by like 1030-11 lines looked very long as more and more people kept spilling in. I hungout in the lot for awhile then ate at point Phillips hotel with MBike Mike and Atomic Jeff was very good. All in all nice ski conditions and good to see blue mountain making some johnny cash.
  7. It will be good tomorrow Am.
  8. I might come into work late tomorrow and hit up Blue tomorrow AM I agree conditions are gonna be grate.
  9. They just want everybody to know that they’re expert skiers from jersey.

  11. Nice info Tarponhead..
  12. Wow good thing you have good ground clearance.
  13. Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. In the house were Johnny Law, JFDan, NMSki, Mute, Ryan, Enjorales cousin, Bethlehem Ford Guy, GahSkier George, Indiggio, Mixilplix, BenM MBike Mike, Slim, Justo, Rose and many others. The temperature was in the upper teens under overcast sky’s with light winds. Opening bell was a mellow affair with the usual suspects ready for fresh cord. My first two runs were on challenge and it was a freaking carpet. I even got some float after the second headwall. The falls and homestretch were immaculate. Main Street was super rough, lazy mile was crazy mile and also rough..I didn’t do nightmare dreamweaver despite people saying it was good. Midway through as actually pretty nice..high five for stoke. Snowmaking cannons were firing across the mountain from switchback to tubing and random places...liftlines were no big dealio with both the six pack and quad running... fun parking lot today with cheeseballs eating cheeseballs..snow falling fa lalalala I think this new snow combined with the old snow and snowmaking will groom out well and as long as it stays cold conditions should be alright. This mornings conditIons were rough with a little bit of nice on challenge but the forecast is grate.
  14. If you did 3/10-3/14 you could do $605 direct Newark to Jackson hole. Flying on Tuesdays is usually the cheapest.
  15. Nice glad you had fun. What are the dates you’re looking at? March actually can be more expensive to Rocky Mountain resorts. It’s considered high season at least the first three weeks and rental cars can be more money then as well.
  16. They’re getting a part from Slovenia..
  17. If it’s not running prepare for some serious liftlines. Amazing what a workhorse the quad has become. I remember the days before the six pack if the quad was down there’d be like a 45 minute liftline for the challenge double. Now we cry like babies when it’s a 5 minute wait and the fickle gates has me doing the Penguin belly slide version of the Limbo..don’t push me when I’m on Razors edge I’m trying not to lose my head ahuh huh huh it’s like a mountain sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under..the gates the gates
  18. Yo Ding A Ling a Loo is a bathroom..also short for Louis
  19. Good stuff and no Loo at the top of a couloir but there are waffles and a bathroom.
  20. Did you ski this morning?
  21. Yup yup yup I wanna ski in the freshly fallen snow but also want the early morning cord and uncrowded runs.
  22. I believe direct Newark to Jackson hole this year was under $500. Can also fly through Chicago or Denver if on united or Dallas if on American. Definitely go to Jackson hole. Did you ski anything off the Tram at Big Sky? Liberty bowl and Bavarerian forest both nice. You should post a report. 10 minute liftlines for Montana is huge. The two seasons I lived in bozeman and skied mainly Bridger bowl and sometimes big sky I don’t think I waited over five minutes for any lift except the big sky tram.
  23. No now they close different runs to blow on gotta resurface everything first before they move on to new terrain. They have a plan until you’re in the war room with Ice Echilon and the other snowmakers you don’t know.
  24. Early bird season pass at Blue was $429 I believe them $529 over the summer and early fall and then $629. I honestly don’t care if the price of a season pass goes up a couple hundred at Blue if it were to include other resorts...or even if it was for Blue only..Blue is smart for having economically priced season passes because the people who only ski a few days a month now buy a season pass instead of perhaps buying a few day passes a season.
