Need to go with a 15 year mortgage. If I was younger I'm not sure I'd buy a house. Then I look at some of the rents they charge around here and I can't believe it.

I almost always have something to do. I guess that's the difference between owning a home and renting an apartment. To each his own. I sometimes have stuff to do for work, too.

Woke up at 6 am and thought about going. Changed my mind, as had a lot of stuff to do at home I have pretty much been ignoring. Went to the gym. Wish I could come up Sunday, but working. Definitely will be there Monday in cooler weather.

I wasn't going to go tomorrow, but I probably will. Must enjoy this while it's here.

Just purchased off peak. It's not really worth while for me to get full pass. I work 1 weekend a month, then usually use the others for family events, hiking, etc.

I'm at Blue right now. Done skiing for the day, as its getting a tad slushy. There's more people in here eating their own food than there is eating the cafeteria food. I personally am having a snack of peanuts, raisins and oranges.

I agree it is fun to piss off the race moms. Just feel this could be handled differently. I know when I started skiing, my kids were young, and they started skiing, as well. We would have been hard pressed to pay for lift tickets, rentals, and then pay for lunch, too. There should be an area set aside for brown baggers. I'm all for not allowing groups of coolers "reserving " a table, or putting 3 tables together with one person sitting there on their laptop or knitting or whatever saving those tables. Personally, for myself, I don't care. I eat before I go up there, ski for 3-4 hours and go home. I take snacks with me that can be eaten on the lift. They are making it harder for some people to go. Just because they changed their name from "ski area" to "resort" they are somehow better?

Yeah, and eventually they will not allow that, either.
