Is it a wrap because they’re closing, or are you over it?

We ate at a place called The Rack on the access road last night. Great food, beer list and crowd was lit IMG_8964.mov

We’re only have this place one more night. My son has to be home sometime Saturday. We’re thinking of skiing half day tomorrow and heading home.

Wow, Barb sounds like a great trip. You meet so many interesting people.

Yeah, my husband said it’s been raining for 4 days. Sucks

And we had over a foot of powder in places! I’ve only ever skied true powder once in my life. Definitely a learning curve. Lucky my son was there to haul my ass up!

We got 6 runs in when everything but the beginner lift went on wind hold☹️. But it was ok because the higher lifts were getting a little scary. Only lift open was a surface lift that laps the one area, but you had to be up there already. We lapped the baby lift a bit, then got off it and hiked up and over to get some untouched. Totally worth it. I may have a new hobby

View from condo when I woke up this morning

Yes. I travel with a group, we get a condo. Every place has grocery stores. I like stopping at little mid mountain places, if they are there, and having a drink and an appetizer. But other than that, I prefer my own food and especially coffee.

And I’m not a big dinner person. Breakfast is my favorite meal.

We bring pocket sandwiches. Most places have an area you can have a bag lunch. I just can’t justify buying a huge lunch that you can’t finish. I like to stop and have a drink and appetizer mid day sometimes.

Bring our own food. Pre prepare stuff, everyone brings a meal. Works out great, get back from skiing, make a drink, throw food in the microwave. It works out great

I hardly ever go out to eat on ski trips.

Hello trip report slacker here. Drove up to The Loaf Sunday, made it here in 10 hours- not bad. Spent Monday am lapping the new expansion - West Mountain. Sweet wide Blue Groomers with some woop-de-doos. Made me think of J law, you could get some nice air. Back over lapped the Superquad a bit and Timberline lift a bit. Then over to Kingpine. Today pretty much the same, just skipped West Mountain. Probably craziest trail we did was Ripsaw. Rocks, grass, frozen bumps. I’ll post the video- doesn’t do it justice. Calling for Nor’easter tomorrow, bring it on. IMG_0311.mov

Ooooo. Hoping Maine gets some snow this week when we’re there

I’ve had an Ikon pass for past 3 years, love it. Was considering not getting another for next year- had a pretty good discount working in healthcare, but now I’m retired. But IDK, think I’ll regret it if I don’t.

Hahaha. Looks like a great day. And what an awesome song, one of my favorites.

Traded a day at Blue for this

Lots of activity on the jumps past 2 weekends, so IDK if that will happen.

I’m not sure I like this. We will see what happens.

I’m out for the 3rd and final closing weekend. Don’t think you could possibly top the 1st and 2nd closing weekend, what fun. Have a great time everyone!
