Thats going to be pretty sweet, but I've never used a tow before so I'm a little leary.

Yeah Tussey is open. Not to get on BC's case but Tussey opened with 100% of their trails. Not sure exacly how much has fallen because there is a lot of existing snow here, but its certainly a lot. They're calling for 3 to 5 inches and we're in a Winter Storm Warning.

Do they still have early season pricing? This sounds like a great week to get back to Montage and hit it up.

I'm 10 minutes from Montage when I'm at home. When I'm here in State College I'm also 10 minutes from Tussey.

Sheetz is the place to be. Theres nothing like a schmuffin or schmagel in the wee hours of the morning. No wild and crazy night is complete without a nightcap of an MTO at Sheetz.

Maybe CB will do the same.

Has anyone been on the Bear Creek website lately? If you click on the Terrain Park link and go to the park page there is a big PASR logo (last year's sticker) in the upper right hand corner. Its a link here and it says check out the BC board. I just found that to be pretty cool.

Those couches are amazing. They're so comforatable. I actually fell asleep on one last year while I was waiting for dominoes to deliver the 5 5 5 deal.

I've often thought of that before. I really like how this site is such a relatively small community and everyone seems to know everyone else. Those other sites are so cluttered with people its hard to get a sense of community and is why PASR is so great.

Box with strobes? How did they pull that and what does it look like?

Everyone talks about Bear Creek. Maybe there is something to this place. We'll see if the schedule permits a trip or not.

Come on guys, when you get fresh pow it opens up the woods and other areas not normally rideable.

According to the Daily Collegian, Tussey Mountain is slotted for the tenth to open.

There was one small park on Reason. All rails/boxes. No jumps anywhere. I didn't really hit up the park much. On Sunday the Rails to Riches rails were open to the public.

Interesting thing, I guess this rumor is really getting out there, I heard a few people talking about Elk being bankrupt on the bus to k-mart this weekend.

Ok, I just got back from Killington for the first time. I was out there all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Not that much open, but enough to keep me occupied. Plenty for me from PA. It snowed in the morning on Saturday and all day Sunday. Sunday was overcast too, and with them blowing snow all over the place visibility was horrible. They opened more trails over the course of both days, mostly diamonds and doubles that they were blowing on. Bring the rock skis!! There were a lot of placces with thin cover. As far for peaks, Killington Peak, Snowdon, and Skye, Ramshead was open too. Not every trail from these was open, but a decent amount. All in all it was a great weekend!

What happened? Were they not getting enough business? Their prices always did seem a little high to me.
