  1. For every vote that would go towards a good down rail there'd be four for a new rollercoaster box.
  2. OK guys I'm going to make replying to this thread really easy for everyone, just quote this post and put a X next to how you feel [ ] boo hoo they don't check my pass enough [ ] boo hoo they check my pass too much
  3. Once it really breaks in I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I never said it's a bad board, I'm just concerned with how long I'll be physically able to ride it before I have to get a new one. I'd rather not have to replace my board four or five times a season.
  4. The board is super soft but also breaks fairly easily. I've already warned Dennis about this so I don't feel so bad posting it but the TN Jib is one of the cheaper boards they have made in their China factory and you get what you pay for. I purposely went out of my way to not put too much stress on my old Jib (read: I didn't do any tailblocks) and still broke it after probably 20 or 30 days on hill. I realize this can be 2+ seasons for your average rider but in my experiences I would stay away from any of the TN China boards. Their more expensive lines are pressed in the Elan factory and are awesome.
  5. I haven't checked eBay up until this point but it seems like most of the NIB ones are going for Buy-it-Now at $280, with your random auction going for around $250. In light of this I guess I could do $240 shipped for any PASR member, if there aren't any takers I'll probably just put it on eBay.
  6. I can't take a hit that hard on the wallet.
  7. Under normal circumstances I'd help you out but since you made THREE OF THE SAME EXACT THREAD I'll just leave a smarmy remark instead.
  8. I think he was talking about the pipe cutter.
  9. If you're serious I will let it got for $250 + shipping. It's new-in-box with all original documents and even still has the $300 price tag on it. Edit: It's a Tracker DTS and it's one of the remodeled ones. Bough it a year ago and haven't used it once.
  10. God I wish you weren't joking so I could sell you my new-in-box Tracker.
  11. $61.88 66% Off, Regularly $179.95 If you care about that sort of thing...
  12. It's pretty funny that they recognize that nobody actually takes their equipment off to get in the park.
  13. If you really want to float in pow that badly you should just learn to snowboard. Riding those must be like driving a tank.
  14. If the object isn't marked and isn't covered by enough snow to safely ride over it then yeah, it does matter. To quote the article; That's going to result in possibly tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical bills. One of ski patrol's major jobs is to close any unsafe terrain and with what I read about the case it sounds like the resort was found at fault because the hazard wasn't marked. I think what makes this article a little strange is that that they're saying he "collided with a wall." Usually when you say something like that it means you run headfirst into a wall, whereas the rest of the article makes it seem like the wall was mostly buried except for a small section that was disguised by new snow. I could easily see how someone would be cruising down the mountain and hit an unmarked object like that.
  15. Really? Didn't they retail for $150?
  16. god dammit I had a stellar deal going and you guys had to go and mess it all up THANKS A LOT JERKS
  17. It sounds to me like the wall was under a thin layer of snow and should have been marked by patrol :/ There's definitely a negligence angle that I'm sure was played up in court.
  18. Only because Mark hasn't been posting lately.
  19. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck...
  20. "Please, snowboarders, save our business!" Pat Bridges wrote one of the best editorials in Snowboarder Mag a few years ago that addressed the resorts that still prohibited snowboarding. The basic idea behind the article was that when these mountains finally open their slopes to snowboarding snowboarders should boycott said mountain because it would be hypocritical to support a business that has shut us out for so long. I know I could really care less about Taos or the other three resorts that prohibit snowboarding.
