😳. I guess we were lucky when I was there. Only one horribly foggy day. They had to shut the top of the mountain down. It’s a shame, it’s such a beautiful mountain.

Really, I don't think I've ever heard of it closing due to fog. Cold, yes, wind, yes, broken lifts yes, but never fog. When was that?

Day 21. Spent most of my time in the fog, but it made diving under the layer later much sweeter.

I think you were there the first season of The Gambler (chair 4). There were a ton of issues with it.

Day 23. A good day for extra clothes. The wind gave all the loose snow a free ride off the mountain.

Do you boot up at the car!!!

Hell, no. In the locker room. I've had a locker since 2003-04. There's a 10 year waiting list now.

no boot heaters?! I just installed a new set of Hotronics in MrsSnoBunski's boots

Generally don't need them. $35 boot gloves whose battery won't die / get lost are enough 95% of the time. Also, if my boots aren't on my feet, they are on heaters even if I skip a day. So they are heated through and warm when I put them on.
