tinymoose Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 From what I've read, ATT is allowing you to upgrade and sign a new contract still without losing the grandfathered unlimited. Verizon, if you upgrade and renew, is forcing you off the grandfathered unlimited.

RidgeRacer Posted November 21, 2013 Report Posted November 21, 2013 False. I had unlimited with verizon and they stopped doing the grandfather thing Kyle's right. I lost unlimited with my last upgrade. The only way you can keep it I believe is to buy your phone outright or unlocked.

Exactly. I was told I had to buy my iPhone outright to keep unlimited. It was actually cheaper to have a 2gb plan( which I never go over) than to buy the phone outright. Plus with verizon if you go over your data, depending on the plan, it's pro rated $5/gb
