snorovr
So what film are you guys most stoked for this year? I can't wait to see REALTIME by Level 1 on the skiing side of things. On the boarding side of things, I thought THAT by forum was soooo good last year, so am excited for their film again.

snorovr
forum isnt making another movie this year....plus they lost like half their team. bummer
bblunt13
i just watched picture this and its pretty sick. the HD is real nice but I still like last year's vid, Follow Me Around, better. The parts were kind of short in this one. Shaun White and Kevin Pearce have a real sick half-pipe sesh though..and i usually am not a big fan of Shaun... Tyler
i've heard that picture this was rather dissapointing. it hasnt gotten the reviews i thought it would have on snowboard.com. but i really wanna see picture this, rome's any means, and stepchild/nomis' child support
Dan-
I honestly havent even looked at anything this year. If standard films is putting out something, I'd go with that. They normally put alot of big mountain and pow slaying footy, and not really any rails which i could care less about. Ps. Just looked it up, It's called Catch the Vapors. Has a sick line up of riders, mostly big mountain slaying. Pss. The first shot in the trailer is a massive pillow line, absolutly sick, i can't wait for this one. Schif
forum isnt making another movie this year....plus they lost like half their team. but the new mack dawg one should be good. its filmed in HD That sucks that forum isn't doing a movie this year. They came out here last year to premeir it and it was pretty sick. From what I saw of the trailer of MDP's new one it looks absolutely sick. Then again, you can say the same for Medellin..... snorovr
After some research, Mackdawg's film is unable to be licensed for premieres because of issues with the record companies that own the songs they used in their film. I guess they have an agreement to not let third parties profit off of the film at all.
xNick11
I heard the riding in Picture This sucked, but the cinematography of it was awesome. I really want to see Workplay. The colors Eddie Grams gets with his DVX100b are amazing, but I've noticed his editing is off sometimes, but his editing style is really differnt from what I've seen. GNU_rider
My list for top videos of the year, 1. Defective Films: Child Support 2. DC Mounainlab 1.5 3. MDP: Picture this 4. Rome/Kids on Shred: Any Means 5. Optimistic (MFM has the best part ever, not to mention mikey leblanc riding a toboggan!) "The colors Eddie Grams gets with his DVX100b are amazing" - xnick11 The DVX100B is quite possibly one of the best cameras ever made, not to mention another credit for panasonic nearly all of picture this was shot with the HVX2000 if not all of it! Black-Bandanna
Thanks Brain by Think Thank was the best snowsports movie I've ever seen. And I'm a skier.
train36
I got the new Absinthe film Optimistic and I liked it a lot. Mikey Leblanc was hitting street rails with a tobaggon with bindings screwed to it! It was a good mix of big mountain and park/street. Dan-
Absinthe imo is always putting out solid films year after year.
GNU_rider
I have to say that we had our mtn. lab 1.5 premiere and sadly it didn't live up to my expectations, although I would say still top 5 material, has anyone happened to see the tech nine video this year because I've been hearing such mixed reviews. First chair last call had some sick motion graphics and some sweet setups for filming Forum didnt loose half their team, some people decided to go to other companies, the rest were let go to bring on new talent that will be around for the next few years
