Did anyone go to Spartan race? I went to spectate my sister and her boyfriend, and rode the 4 pack down hill. That was a unique experience.

The scar area collected a ton of leaves over time. I think that’s why there was more deciduous tree damage vs the rest of the burned area. A couple years ago I started exploring the upper gully area from the top down but quit a little way in . I started sliding on the leaves and it gets pretty steep.

@GrilledSteezeSandwich Yesterday I found snowless snowtubing near Connellsville, PA. It looks radical. We should make a trip there soon. Maybe Atomic Skier will fly us there on his aeroplane and we can invite JFDan, Matt Edge, and @eaf. Afterwards we can share a six person bunk bed at Jellystone Park though I call top bunk.

I hiked this area, although it had little fire damage the area to the left (North) had considerably more damage.

Nah but with this trend in global warming, I bet we'll be skiing on July 4 pretty soon. We can shoot off fire works in the parking lot whilst we all drink our Yoo-Hoos, and maybe Matt Edge will even make an appearance.
