  1. Dan, you need to read other topics before you post. I already posted this earlier today in "Good News II". Way to go..j/k
  2. "EXPANSION PROGRESS WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS ON THE NEW 6 PASSENGER CHAIRLIFT...CHALLENGE EXPRESS. YESTERDAY THE LAST 3 TOWER FOOTERS WERE SET. WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS THE HELICOPTERS WILL BE HERE TO INSTALL THE LIFT TOWERS. THIS AWESOME INSTALLATION CAN BE VIEWED FROM OUR VALLEY PARKING LOT AREA. THE GRADING OF SIDEWINDER PARK IS ALMOST COMPLETE AS WELL AS THE ADDITONAL SNOWMAKING LINES. NEW RAILS AND BOXES ARE BEING BUILT. CHECK HERE FOR MORE UPDATES." Is anyone going to watch the helicopter bring in the towers? It would be cool to watch, if anone goes I'd appreciate if they took some pics, although I'm sure Blue will post up some of their own. *Edit- Sorry, this may have been more appropriate in the "construction continues" section.
  3. That's a cool vid. I like the part of the Welcome to Pennsylvania sign...showing how they're leaving MC and all. But, why do they have freames for a ton of flat boxes and nothing else?
  4. Check out the Loveland Pics now! Look at some of those piles...man I can't wait. Last night got down to 38.6F here on my digital thermometer...so we're getting close.
  5. Yo what kind of snowgun do you have? I'm guessing combo gun? How many gpm and cfm do you have at your disposal? I had an alright park last year, but I am also planning on upping my output and getting some new features. I'm limited with space, but we'll make something work. I'll post pics when I get it all set up, hopefully before the end of November.
  6. I'm guessing park rangers don't build any of the features, basically a ski patrol of the terrain park. Park Crew builds the stuff. Thats my guess
  7. I forget where I was, not last year but two or three years ago people were throwing open honey mustard off the lift and I'm pretty sure they hit this guy and it got all over his jacket. If that happened to me I would make sure that kid "accidently" ended up head first into a huge tree.
  8. Idk how this would be, but I'd like to see a big ledge. Something that you ride right up to and at the edge just like a 10-15ft drop onto a nice steep down slope. Then on one side maybe put like a long flat box so you can either hit the huge ledge or go for the box (and if you fall off the box it would be a pretty good drop to the ground). Just a thought
  9. Whatever, I don't ski so how would I know. Actually I think I heard of June Mountain before but I forgot about it, check out the website, it looks awesome
  10. This is just a stab in the dark, but maybe...just maybe, could it be June Mountain, just like the flag in the background says?
  11. Awesome, maybe if we all comment or whatever they'll keep updated on BB throughout the winter, or even make a video there. Think? Is that just online or will it be in the magazine? Don't start.
  12. I hope all the jumps and lips to the rails are maintained just as well as in those pics. And yea...BB definately need a huge hip, preferably on the left so you land to the right of the lip. I was watching some crazy vids on www.snowboardermag.com and there was one with a rediculos hip, I'll dig up the link tomorrow in skool if anyone wants to see.
  13. The past few years Loveland has been the first in the Country to make snow. Its going to be so awesome to see pics of the first snowgun in the United States of America making snow for the 06/07 season! After that the wait is almost gone. Their weather is average right now, maybe a little on the cool side, so 19 days does seem possible.
  14. That 2nd Jump looks awesome. Blue should have jumps like that for their longer gaps, like that one on the right before the "hip" last year. Instead they had the short, steep, and medium height takeoff. O well, shouldn't be complaining, they had a great park last year. At one point last year the first jump in the Dew park at Big Bouler ALMOST looked like that, except not as wide.
  15. If all that is true, then cool But, you should at least spell your user name right...unless someone is actually forming your house...
  16. Is it the 17th? I thought it was the 10th...at least for the one in Quakertown. The one in Whitehall ships most all their winter stuff to that one for the summer. They should also have most of the '07 models in by the time of the sale.
  17. Not the left side...unless its really hard packed or ice.

I started wearing a Red brain bucket two years ago and I'm glad I did. I got used to it quick, keeps my head warm/dry, and keeps my head safe.
  19. So...has anyone checked out the progress? We got progress pics of Blue and Camel, we need someone to check out Boulder. I'll get some when we go to our cabin next week if no one else get some sooner.
  20. This is where you used to enter the park...notice how far past the treeline the trail goes. Not sure what they're doing with the snowmaking pipes: Sorry guys, I think I'll have to stop any further construction due to this rare mushroom I found
  21. You can thank me for that But really, I didn't know it was a secret. If you're referring to the ones at Amateur Athlete, I'm not sure on the date. I heard someone from the Blue Mt. snowmaking crew was going to help truck in the snow, but I'm not sure on how accurate my info is. Besides, I don't see why they wouldn't just bring in a fangun and make the snow if conditions are right, and if they got the electric/water.
