  1. I was told by a guy that studies weather for a hobby that a change in the weather pattern will occur between the 9th and 13th of January. It's supposed to be normal temps, and some below normal temps. Lets just cross our fingers, because he also told me that Februrary will warm up again
  2. I'm really looking forward to seeing/hitting this channel gap that's been talked about. Supposed to be the first hit I think...should be HUGE! I just hope they put a nice hip in that you can go slow into but still get a ton of pop off of, I saw one in the Jan issue of Snowboarder Mag. and it looked FUN. Speed isn't always the key for air if the jump is built right, and I'm sure BB knows how to build jumps.
  3. It was "snowing" at Blue Mt. today. I got there around noon, and it was flurrying on the ride up, then it started snowing off and on the entire time there. Actually, if you looked at certain spots it was almost a light coating. Then they turned the guns on between 8 and 8:30pm.
  4. No need to worry about any trails not getting opened. Long term forecast is showing a very cold trend moving in right around Christmas, with highs right at freezing and lows in the mid teens. I know, I know, it's a long term forecast and probably not all that accurate, but at least it's not jumping all around...if you look at the chart at the bottom its just a steady drop and then straight line(temp).
  5. Haha, how can you just guess someones name if your going to be putting them on the internet?? That seems funny, but again, it's cool how you represented BB. NICE!
  6. Sorry to the pass holders, but...HAHAHA. Thats the stupidest thing ever. I highly doubt that they'll even be able to make snow around the clock, especially considering the high for both those days in Tannersville is ~40F. A lot of times they just keep the snowguns on during the warmer parts of the day just to say they made snow 'round the clock, because they know temps will drop right after sunset. Then when they do that, it causes mass amounts of ice if they don't get it covered before it freezes over. Thats just my opinion, I don't know the exact temps up there at all times of day, because they're not rad enough to post the temp (and humidity) on their webcam like BB. Again...I do feel for the passholders, that just ain't right closing the Mt. like that.
  7. Props to Kurt Schultz for representing BB. Seems to me they keep advancing just as steadily even without Park Logic. I'll be there Thursday...I saw them making snow up until at least 8:45 this morning, and I'm sure they'll be pumping it out tonight and tomorrow night as well. Great Job BB!
  8. I MAY be there Tuesday to hit up the 30footer. Is it worth it?
  9. I was at Blue yesterday, and in my opinion Boulder last Tuesday/Wednesday was better park wise compared to Blue. Now with the added jumps, I'm sure Boulder is winning in terms of best park. Tree jib was my favorite.
  10. Umm...Check the daily pics on www.skibluemt.com
  11. I'm pretty sure they didn't just get pissed and leave...especially since about 10 days ago they were so psyched about the new features they were going to be building (I(we) was talking with Shawn). And, if you got pissed, would you later come on a message board and say that your leaving? Probably not. I haven't been on PASR in a few days/week posting, and once I heard about this from a friend I had to come on here to see what was up. I can't imagine what would have gone wrong...the couple BB guys I talked to seemed super pumped to have Julian and Shawn around. Weird...I hope we find out more of what happened...we're a large community here, and hopefully we can change this back around. Also, Papa obviously knows more about this than all of us, I don't know why it has to stay a secret. No, WE don't know...YOU know and won't share.
  12. Oh, and I definitely got first chair at the top of the Mt. on the new 6 pack. I took a pic, I'll post it after school. Shadows got 2nd chair, Stevo 3rd. I sat on the most chairs though, all three that were within reach.
  13. I do have a few pics also...but as you can all tell, I'm busy with my chemistry HW . I also am probably the only one on here with dial-up, so it'll be a little while before I get the pics up, if I even do.

    ROADDDDD Trip!

Yea, but we have to use our vouchers before the 23rd or else wait until like late March. I was at Elk once a few years back, and from what I remember the Mt. was real nice, good view, and great riding. Park not that good, but I don't mind just riding the Mt. for a day.
  15. Variable cloudiness with a flurry possible; windy and cold. Winds from the NW at 17 mph Uh...yea, TONS of snow monday...
  16. That ain't right...if he was supposed to get a deal and he didn't get one, I think someone should be sending him a lift ticket for screwing up..
  17. I'll have my white sessions coat on, look for da white hood.
  18. The left of the bottom one is the same as the right of the top one.
  19. TONS OF SNOW AT BLUE MT!! New Boxes: C Down Reverse C Box: Happy Thanksgiving!
  20. Haha, notice how nobody really cares about Camelback Snowmaking...no offense, I'm just saying all the other mt. forums have like instant replies when they hear about snowmaking, but CB...no replies even after an hour.
  21. Haha...I saw the Killington daily pic of the Skiing Weatherman today and i was about to bring back this topic.
