Hey rummy, how is this going to go over with the locals? An unfortunate upgrade to the parking lot at the bottom of the Lenape.

I stopped using the Ski tracks app 3 years ago as i realized that trying to beat my last top speed was just crazy. i was skiing to impress the app more than just having fun. I still use it for mountain biking and hiking.

How many PASRs have a multi mountain pass? Which one did you purchase and Why? How did you use it to best advantage? Did you save money or not? Would you get the same one or another next time?

Snow Report Wednesday, March 29th, Camelback Mountain will be open for skiing and riding from 9:00AM - 7:00PM on 33 Trails with 5 lifts turning throughout the day. The USA's Biggest Snowtubing Park will be open from 12:00PM - 7:00PM with up to 20 lightning fast tubing lanes

Yea,, their menu has been trimmed and is much more just barfood. The quality seems to have fallen off as well. I do not believe the menu listed on their website reflects their current offering.

Elks main lodge will still allow you to bring your own food in. Which I suggest, the food at Elk is at best only fair and has grown increasingly expensive. Breakfast is always good, but sausage egg and cheese, large coffee and an orange is $11.25! Water with ice and plastic cup is self service, still free and greatly appreciated. The seating is uncomfortable if you are an adult. Better yet, their is a picnic lodge with an open hearth fire for grilling whatever you like. The seating is old school picnic tables and there are plenty of electrical outlets around. There will be a handful of regulars around and that's about it. If it is really quiet on Monday or Tuesday they will let you park in the upper lot. Either way, if you ask the guys they will probably let you drive up to the picnic lodge(ask for the halfway house) to drop your picnic stuff off.

Haters gonna hate, but still the best coverage in PA right now.

Tweeked a disc in my back avoiding a snowboarder overtaking me from behind. Was at camelback a few weeks ago. I didn't realize at the time the gravity of the injury, two days later I sure did. Working with physical therapist. May need to consider surgery. The runs there are so narrow and there can be so many people!

Elk has a ton of snow on its core trails. I suspect some are closed today as they are saving My guess: with the Spring Carnival on March 18th and Day 100 being March 23. The mountain will officially close Saturday March 25, to allow for the family friends and employees celebration on the 26th which is a strictly private function. I don't think this happened last year as the weather was so bad. We will see. My season is done due to injury. I'll ski vicariously through you guys for now. Hard to believe I'd have to stoop this low!

Elk has a substantial amount of snow s ores up in front of the lodge and ski shop which they will push over to cover where they need it at the bottom.
