I wouldn't put it past some of the guests at CB...Or many of the guests there. Seven Springs tried to get some slots put in, but it didn't work out for them because the owner also owns part of a minor league baseball team. I wonder if any other ski resort is looking into slots?

Last year we went up to Bell, and it was after a huge rainstorm. Since its state run they closed the ski area down and used it for a shelter. Twas a little annoying, but they gave us free passes to use the following year. Also we hopped in the car and drove down to hunter.

2 hour delay that turned into a day off...Why...I don't know. But I'll take it being seniors don't need to make up snowdays.

I would love to get up for one of those days. Don't know if its gonna happen or not.

Went to Mammoth with iceman from 4-3 to 4-8. Not the best snow year for them, but they still had plenty if you ask me. Its about 6 hours in the air flying out there, with one stop over. Then another 3 hours by car from Reno. Awesome mountain with tons of stuff to ski. I think it would be even cooler to ski mid winter. There not very good, because most of them were taken last run last day. Flew out past a bunch of other ski areas, but I'm not sure which ones were what areas.

I bet they'll get some pictures up Monday. Sounds like everyone except doug had a good time. Doug thinks it was awful, poorly set up, poorly run, and didn't have enough slope style signs up. He knows all of this from uhhh wait, he doesn't know anything about it.

You want to go up there soon if your going to go. There is a trail below the bowl that you can ski down at the end of the day (insted of hiking down with your stuff) but when the snow melts on that, your hoofing it down. Its much easier, and less aggrivating to ski down. (Skis don't ride the same way on a pack going down as they do going up). I think it took 10-12 hours from philly go get up there.

There are a few around here. Camelbeach, Shawnee has one, Dorney Park/Wildwater kingdom (gets most of the philly traffic). And theres Great Wolf. I think Sno could end up getting some of CB's traffic from NY, especially if they had cheaper tickets (or group rates). It doesn't sound like CB is worried about losing money to it, as they are projecting a very busy summer season.

It pisses me off that everytime I go to blue I have to deal with those damn balls over all the trails (yes, everytime for the last 8 years I have went I remember them) but I don't sit there and post about how there grooming sucks everytime the mountain reps (they don't have) posts something.

Jeff and Dougie do you guys ever get tired of posting shit that most Camelback skiers don't want to read? If I wanted to read stuff about Blue, I could go and read the blue forum...Thats what its there for...

Finals didn't go all that well for me, but next weekend I should be heading up to High school championships at Cannon NH. At the very least I hope to get some good points there
