He was 47th after the first run. In FIS/World Cup races, you have to be Top 30 in GS races to get a second run. Then they run the second run in order from slowest to fastest (30,29...2,1). U.S. didn't have a great showing either day...Best finishes for women was 10th, and for men, 15th.

I don't think they are allowed to show life FIS races..some rule somewhere or other. You can watch the results streaming on some websites, which aren't delayed much. U.S. Only had one in the top 10

I have seen them upclose. Not for me...Might be for some people. For a first pair of skis, you might not be able to find a better deal, but I think I would have issuses on them trying to uhh turn on anything but uhh water. Salomon has the crossmax skis in the version of 7, 8, and 10. I believe (but am not sure) the rental shop has the 7s (the ones they are selling now, but could be the 8s). As the numbers go up, the skis get stiffer (and generally are made for more advanced skiers). I also think (but again not sure) they are foam, not wood cores. I had the crossmax 10s, (180 cm) and they felt like wet noodles, even on soft snow, so I ended up giving them to my dad. On the other hand, they have a pretty sweet race ski So if they were the first pair of skis for you, probably one of the better deals you can find. If you have a pair of intermediate or better skis, you might be disapointed. Ashleigh thanks for stopping by

I hear some percentage of the rooms (blanking on what it was) is going to be sold out as like condos. They are going to be the size of rooms, but avaible to be bought by people. Not a timeshare, ownership... But again, like everything at CB, don't believe it til you see it built...

Haha I heard about that this summer, but didn't want to spread anything. Supposed to be effing huge. My bet is they will put 2 lifts going up to it, and like 4 trails going down from it (even if all the trails are like 3 feet long) and then they have 15 lifts and 37 trails, wihtout doing much work. Going to be interesting to see what happens. I hear there are a few other indoor waterparks going in too...

There pretty beat...Might be worth 50 for a pair of skis as rock skis....but maybe not.

Thats usually how I go up with Mum from CB... '999 had a different way, but I don't think going his way is faster coming from CB, just faster going from his house.

I think hood uses a salt, that can also be used to 'soften' water. I thought they were supposed to mix urea and salt if it was really warm...but either is better than neither

I am cheap And I look for good deals. Buying myself a pair of new SL skis tonight for my halloween present (Ok actully I'm just getting around to it now)...

If JF/BB wanted him to be a rep, then we could hook him up. Idealy the reps work in marketing, or atleast know whats going on there, so they can give us a heads up on all the events.
