  1. Grate report, sounds radical. WTGAI doing X-ing twice. My favorite run lately has been Widowmaker to Chute to Lower Main. Nightmare continues to be total suck.
  2. Nah, I'm just impressed with his skiing ability and hoping he gives me free lessons for correct skiing pole planting technique some day
  3. Well duh. That's not that point. This isn't an appropriate image for a resort's marketing website - they're supposed to be promoting safety @eaf
  4. This picture on Solitude's website is grate. Safety bar up, lift filled to full capacity in a global pandemic, and noses visible on the 2 individuals seated right. @GrilledSteezeSandwich you should give Solitude 3 dings.
  5. Good stuff! You should get some very nice dust-on-crust runs before the hordes invade. I wonder who's going to park in @atomic's spot today??
  6. Yep, it was early afternoon. The snow under the lift was very skiable, but I was a little worried about the sheet of death ice underneath. Turned out it was no problemo. There were no tracks under the chairs at the time and it was pretty nice getting some fresh.
  7. That video is grate. I was the GoPro kid today. I've encountered many non-stop talking people on the lifts. Even in Whiteface one guy talked non-stop for 13 minutes on the Summit Lift. The Lodge Rats remind me of my friend from high school who snowboards 5 runs on a trip and then goes in the lodge for beer the rest of the day.
  8. No idea, but interested to find out what happens
  9. Thanks. I brought my Bluetooth Speaker so I could play that song for all the people on the Main Street chair but didn't feel like going back to my car to get it.
  10. That is probably the best photograph I've ever seen on the site (not trolling).
  11. @GrilledSteezeSandwich This video is radically. Maybe even haters like Toast will like it. There was nice untouched powdah under Main Street chair
  12. I also told him that I'll ski mostly groomers in Utah, and he said that I can do that here 💁‍♂️
  13. @GrilledSteezeSandwich Nastar Glenn was very concerned that I'm going to Utah by myself. He told me to be careful out there, and also to be careful on the drive home. Sounds like he's basically the father figure of the group... well besides @AtomicSkier wahahahaha
  14. Roads were just fine this morning and afternoon, lol. At least between True Blue & Hazleton
  15. But then Grilled Steeze wouldn't get to enjoy this awesome video. I'll post another one later tonight (one that's of skiing).
  16. Swapped the Monsters for RTMs in the afternoon to mess around off piste a little. Found a few nice powder stashes.
  17. No, those are the RTMs. I would never do that to someone else's skis.
  18. @GrilledSteezeSandwich Check this epic run out. It was my last run of the day and was pretty technical. At the end Nastar Glen yelled "Hey Jerry!" because he thought my actual name is Jerry. Then I talked to Nastar Glen for about 20 minutes. He says you're a grate skier.
  19. This 9 am start is bizarre. I have so much extra time. Might even get a SUJOPO in
  20. Where are you going? Anywhere good like Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia?
  21. Ski trips and trips in general have been many of the best weeks of my lifes.
  22. Correct, wasn't planning on Alta/Snowbird. I'm going to Park City first, then Brighton/Solitude. But if there's avalanche danger at Brighton/Solitude (as Brighton is recommending carrying a beacon in bounds), not sure I'm going to either. No big deal, I'll find a resort with less avalanche risk. Even a few extra days at Park City would be fine as I find the huge mountains really fascinating. And this Interlodge thing sounds sucky... good thing I'm not staying near any resorts.
  23. Nah, I'm bike riding friends with the owner of this site so I'd never get banned or have my posts deleted
