I always make a thread when I go on a ski trip and @GrilledSteezeSandwich says my Stowe thread from 2018 is one of the best trip reports on this site, probably at least rated in the top 50 of threads that season.

Many have assured me that the Interstates will be clear by noon tomorrow and there might be some snow on the final stretch to Lake Placid. If I cant go tomorrow I booked a refundable ticket for Hunter on Wednesday just in case, and then I'll go to WF on Thursday & Friday. I've been checking the weather obsessively all day today and will not be a happy camper until I'm at my room in Lake Placid.

I hope not, this is bullshit. I shoveled the Sonic out dozens of times and now I have to do it again tomorrow when the plow comes. Also I shoveled the roof off and it all fell on the path I dug, so now I have to shovel that again. WTF

Thanks for the encouragement. My mom says I shouldn't go til Wednesday but I told her I'm a big boy now and I can do what I want. Everytime it snows she swears we'll be trapped in the house for a week but then everything's fine the next day.
