Wow you're putting words in Justo's mouth, if I did that I'd be getting all kinds of hell for it.

It is. I'm just slightly concerned about a potential snowstorm Monday night into Tuesday. Was planning to leave early Tues morning Yeah, I know I'll get "STFU salty stop complaining about snow on a ski trip". I love snowstorms when I can easily get to the mountain, but I'm not driving 6 hours in a blizzard. So hopefully it comes before or after my trip if we get some purd. Regardless I'd only lose 1 day out of 4 probably.

I'm already a big boy. I don't like talking on the phone because it takes extra effort. I'm sure they're diligently working on a response as we speak

Emailed them last night. If I dont hear back by later today I might try calling. TFTR (thanks for the reminder). The prices for both mountains are almost the same so I dont expect pushback from them. Dont care at all if they keep the few extra $s difference.

Wow just wow. If a couple of confused faces and boner of cities are ruining everyone's day, I suppose I can use them more sparingly. But if I get banned and/or lose my reaction ability (a fundamental human right) then I'll never post on here again or ski with another PASR. Toast and JFDan: HIGH FIVE!!!!

Is it AlpineZone? If so can you unban GSS? He has a lifetime ban there. #freeGSS

Wouldn't care about reservations if they were refundable, even if you get a limited number of cancellations. For instance, my Hunter reservation can be cancelled if I don't use it by 12 pm the day of. But the system Whiteface, Gore, and many other mountains use says all ticket sales are final. Of course it doesn't matter because like Mixilplix says, I have to do whatever the ski places make me do or else can't ski there. Addendum: checked WF's website and apparently you can contact customer service if you can't travel and they may work with you. Of course I still plan to go the days I booked, but you never know if something happens (e.g. car breaks, sick, blizzard so can't drive 6 hours, etc.)

Nope, I was gonna do 2 days at Whiteface and 1 day at Gore (to break up the drive back home) but Gore sold out so I booked WF. Then Gore became available again tonight. WTF

WTF, now Gore is available on 2/5. But I already booked a nonrefundable Whiteface ticket. Grrr. I wanted to check out Gore. I really hope this BS goes back to normal next year and I can ski wherever I want whenever I want.

Correct. I bought a ticket at the window. It's the old fashioned sticker ticket with the metal thingy. There were no silly reservations needed when I went.

TFTI. I was surprised to read somewhere there are 43 ski resorts in NY but the only ones I've heard of (without doing a google search) are Whiteface, Gore, Hunter, Windham, Platekill, Belleayre and Greek Peak.

Correct, I cant really come up with much to complain about Blue this season except their crappy grooming sometimes which is par for the course there. They've been very good to us loyal season passholders by not requiring silly reservations or anything, and they did a really grate job getting the trails open quickly. That's my Boy Blue!!

I hadn't considered this regarding an Epic pass. Say I buy one (assuming it's released prior) for my March 1 trip to Utah. I wonder if I can use it this season and next? I might get some Epic savings

Dang, if you bombed Challenge you could have skied 8 runs per hour but because of those stupid gates you can only ski 7 runs per hour.

I don't wanna put words in anyone's mouths anymore, but in my personal opinion, I believe Ben told me a few times that he's quite content skiing at Blue and isn't really interested in skiing elsewhere.
