I'll post pics tonight, cant find wifi. It's grate! Conditions are rad and the terrain is awesom-o. They got the lift situation fixed so I'm happy now. I just thought it was gonna be like that all day long and if it was i was going back to the hotel house

Ok thanks. I was irate this morning when they weren't running any lifts and there were 75 people in line for lifts to Blue squares. Now I'm good since they starting running the Face Lift. I know you love the place but come on, you'd be mad too. Mostly everyone here was bitching about it.

I almost lost my cool earlier. After long ass line a single refused to pair up with me on the quad and I yelled "I GUESS I HAVE LEOPRASY"

The lift situation has improved now that they opened the quad. I was about to go in the lodge and drink hot cocoa for the rest of the day

Well the fast lift to mid station is off I guess it's too windy. Lots of complaining from many (not me tho). Found sum slow liftz to some black diamonds and it should be grate when I get to the top

Well it came on as soon as I left and I was in a bitchy mood from shoveling for 4 hours and last time I dealt with the low pressure the stem wouldnt stop blowing air and I was in no mood to deal with that again

Correct. One tire always goes low and makes the dumb light go on. It is quite fancy Got maybe 1 inch over night but the hotel clerk says we're getting 4 to 8 today. Woo hoo! I might get the goods since I missed out on Blue Mountain boner city land

It'll still be grate. I had a lot of fun at Loveland and their lifts are slow as snails. Plus maybe the Gondyla will open on Thurs & Fri.

I'm just glad to not be working and away from McAdoo. How do you stay entertained during 17 minute lift rides? I have ADHD.

Correct. This is my 5th ski trip and I've gotten the Perder on each trip. So much so that I've come to expect it. Killington (2017) - I was a gaper and stayed at the hotel all day while it was snowing because my Sonic's tires sucked ass. Yeah, it was ridiculous in hindsight and but now my new tires can handle anything. Stowe (2018) - Got perder my first day when I had to walk up the steep hill. Ended up doing a gaper trail anyway (Toll Road) first run 'cause I had no idea what I was doing. Met up with Moe Ghoul one day and we skied some ungroomed. Also got yet another pow day and ended up skiing mostly groomers all day 💁♂️ Was 3rd in line and got 6th chair due to RFID card SNAFU, and then skied a tiny segment of perder. Winter Park (2019) - First true perder day and got Free Refills on the back bowls. Best. Day. Ever. Steamboat (2020) - Skied fresh Purd on day 1 with Enjoralas and Pops, then got dumped on another day later in the week and paid $50 for First Trąx. Epic!

That's a bit of a bummer that the gondola is closed. I was hoping to ride that most of the day since I think the rest of the lifts are super slow (other than the mid mountain). Regardless itll be a grate day !

Nah, I just pushed the red and yellow buttons. They are cheap AF there One time I was skiing on my lunch break and I yelled to the lift mechanic, "Hey Jimbob, did ja fix the lift yet???" Later he gave me a stern talking to about yelling that in front of clientele. He was pissssed

You're welcome and any time! You were mostly right about the Interstates. The worst segments were I-84 in the Poke-n-Hoes, and I-87 north of Albany. Then the last root from the interstate to Lake Placid was entirely snow covered and the approx 20 mile drive felt like 2 hours. Sonic handled exceptionally well on my no season tires. Eventually I made it and just ordered flounder at the Chinese restaurant

That's a grate breakfast. My coworker used to eat chocolate bars and pretzels from the vending machine for dinner because he didnt feel like going out.

I was in LP in Sept 2020 and biked up WF. It was rad. It was pretty much business as usual there.
