  1. Well it's official. I booked the 69er Lodge for August. 2 nights. Going to check out the Tetons and then after JH head north to Yellowstone and back to Bozeman. Thanks for recommending this hotel
  2. Thanks! I'm getting closer to finally committing to this trip. Maybe I'll even start making reservations in the upcoming weeks.
  3. Yeah that's much easier. I've rented a bike in Munich, Austria, the Grand Canyon, Hilton Head, and even Lancaster and it worked out just fine each time.
  4. I imagine it would be a lot harder than skis. I'd have to buy a giant sturdy box, take the bike apart correctly, fit it in the box, somehow carry the giant box and my luggage through the airport, pay $100 to get it on the plane, retrieve said giant box at my destination, somehow transport the giant box and my luggage to a rental car facility (at some airports you need to take a shuttle to the rental car... would the box fit on the shuttle?), and then hope I get a rental car big enough to fit the box, or else I need to assemble the bike at the rental car place - AND figure out what to do with the box if it and the bike don''t fit in the rental car. Then I get to do it all again in reverse to transport the bike home! Maybe I'm overthinking it, but last year I decided to just drive out west to bike all over Colorado. Much easier!
  5. I would but flying with a bike sounds like a royal pain in the ass.
  6. Maybe I'll stay there. $225 sounds like a bargain now compared to $300. So I'm thinking 2 nights each in Bozeman, Jackson Hole, and Yellowstone. 3 full days in Yellowstone. I like hiking, looking for wildlife, walking around small touristy towns, and museums.
  7. But I hate camping and hostels. Guess its $300 per night then !
  8. I was planning something like 1 night in Bozeman, 1-2 nights in Jackson Hole, and 3 nights in West Yellowstone. Guess I'll be spending $250-$300 per night then. Maybe I'll stay in Bozeman an extra day if I can find something to do there.
  9. Where do you guys stay in Jackson Hole? I took a week off in August but have no vacation plans and thought of maybe flying to Bozeman and going to Yellowstone and Teton Park. But the hotels are just too damn expensive and I don't wanna spend any money. I can usually find hotels for $100 a night that are clean and decent, but there are none in West Yellowstone or Jackson Hole...
  10. It's one of the most exciting things about the 425 mile drive across Kansas. In fact I think it's the only exciting thing.
  11. Four words: Wizard of Oz museum.
  12. That's not cool. Some of the top PASRs are from Jersey. Like eaf and Ski2Live.
  13. Screw that sun. Cost me a lot of warpless speedruns.
  14. It wasnt that hot today. I rode 66 miles and was shivering going down the mountains. Not long now til True Blue fires up the snow guns.
  15. Nice pics. Looks like skiing is still going on out there. The continental divide separates the flow of water between the Atlantic and Pacific.
  16. What??? I hate walking in ski boots, and my name isn't Colin!
  17. Great troll post at the beginning! You had me going, reminds me of something I would post!
  18. Just start biking. You can always ride on the D&L trail of you don't want to ride on the road. Then you can get lots of likes from posting in the Bikes forum.
  19. Yeah my legs are shaped weird.
  20. I have no idea. Just whenever it takes too much effort to comb in the morning.
  21. Ok. I hate getting haircuts so I get as much cut off as possible so I dont have go to back for a long time.
  22. Wow I look ridiculous in this picture.
  23. I have? I frequently stop at the Lehigh Valley rest stop, and there's no Hardee's there. There's a Sunoco, Starbucks, Roy Rogers, Cinnabon, Roadside BBQ, and some Italian restaurant.
  24. Yep, in my favorite place - King of Prussia. I ate a medium Papa John's last night with lots of toppings, and also had an orange soda.
  25. Thanks but I don't go in the woods. Mr. Mackey didn't say this, it was that rad ski instructor, mkay?
