  1. That's certainly a nice spot for plane watching. Maybe one day I'll bring my red chair and sit in the grass with a root beer. Yesterday though I couldn't wait to finish the ride at the end because I was dying of thirst even though I drank my two full water bottles.
  2. Getting hit on any road is always a concern of mine, but I felt pretty safe going around Harvey's Lake as the cars arent going very fast and it's a popular biking loop. I watch approaching cars in my mirror and if they're not moving to the left I look for the nearest exit. Plus had my high viz and rear blinking camera on. It was a nice ride, the climb leaving Edwardsville was pretty tough with grades of 17%. Didnt see any airplanes at KWBW but looks like a really nice spot to watch planes landing on runway 25.
  3. Biked from Kirby Park in Kingston to Harvey's Lake and back to explore the Back Mountain and surroundings. Schiff's was near the paved trail which follows the river.
  4. Correct, it was in Forty Fort and not too far from the river
  5. Thanks for helping that poor baby mouse. I've moved a few turtles off roads while biking.
  6. @SchifThis is great! By Wilkes-Barre.
  7. Wao! You have your season planned out already. My plan is to ski a lot. I'm gonna ski a lot.
  8. @GrilledSteezeSandwich When are we going glamping with MattEdge and JFDan???
  9. Yeah I asked Keating on Monday if I could ride with Joe for just a short segment and he said no because the station doesnt want anyone riding with him. And yeah I shook hands with him in McAdoo and he was a cool dude. Awesome-O!
  10. Yeah those are the best kind of oysters
  11. Niiice! Where did you meet him? It's always hard to guess what time he'll be somewhere because he takes breaks, gets flats, plays with his pickle etc. At least Chris Keating (nice guy) has been regularly posting his whereabouts. Here's my meeting with Snedeker in 2016
  12. Those look ridiculously good 😛
  13. I'm up for splitting a condo again if you'd like... basically anywhere out west is good with me as long as it's on the Epic Pass, except for Park City because I was there last year. I'd like to check out Vail, Breckenridge or Keystone. Wouldn't mind planning it now so we can lock in a radical deal somewhere.
  14. I couldnt find a good one so I used my Strava picture from 2016 🤷🏻‍♂️
  15. Jack Frost, Hunter, Stowe, Vail probably. Also would like to get back to Roundtop by Harrisburg. I won't have to pay for any lift tickets this season which is grate
  16. This is grate! I'll have 2 season passes, one for True Blue & the Epic Pass, so I'll be doing lots of skiing on my Elon'z.
  17. I'll post more during ski season, just been checking in once or twice a day to see if @GrilledSteezeSandwich tags me.

  19. I didn't actually know Woodstock was held in the Catskills until I was reading facts about the Catskills last night, lol. Visiting was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. It's mind blowing that 400,000+ people converged in the middle of a farm in NY. Some interesting facts I learned from the museum: The farmer who allowed the festival on his land had different political views, but thought they had the right to their opinion because it's a free country, so he let them hold it. Some residents of Bethel, New York were not happy about the whole thing, but others helped pass out food and sandwiches. One lady bought everything at a local farm to supply food. At the original site intended for Woodstock, that town passed an ordinance requiring a permit for any gatherings of 5,000 people just to block it from happening. Since there were only 600 bathrooms, many people did their business in the nearby woods. It took some people 3 days to find their abandoned cars, since the roads became clogged. People had to walk on top of cars to get to the concert because the road was so congested. There were "trip tents" for people who took too much acid; when they recovered, they helped other people recover. People were told to move their tents for the supply helicopter landing pad, but didn't so were woken up at 6 am by the helicopter hovering above them trying to land. And what I found the most interesting... Notes written on paper plates (or whatever they could find to write on), nailed to a tree in hopes to find missed connections:
  20. Visited the Woodstock field & museum on my way home today. Far out!
