She said she NEEDS to snowboard...probably because that's what I do and she thinks I'm the coolest person in the world (she'll figure out that's not true when she gets older) I think it'd be easier for her to learn on skis first, but we'll see. I'd like to get her to Blue at some point and play around on skis/board, whatever she decides.

She keeps asking to come to Blue with me...not sure if it's better to get her out on skis or a snowboard first.

Took the kid sledding again this afternoon...she asked to go for a ride on the snowboard

Good getting on on the snow and seeing some of you guys...did a few runs on main street to start off since there was no lift line there. Then a few runs on lazy. I should be back on Sunday

I plan on doing Montage at some point over Christmas (partially to make a stop at the pierogi place in Wilkes-Barre and Breaker Brewing).

Montage is opening today with a few good trails - Boomer, Smoke, and Cannonball are all open. Too bad their tickets are no longer cheap, although I think they still offer a 10% AAA discount

Driving in ski boots probably decreased your gas mileage. Probably burnt enough money to buy a cocoa and a side order of applesauce

If that doesn't work, you can probably find a natural gas weed burner somewhere in a hotel in Allentown

I would say around 10" here. I had the jeep parked across the end of the driveway...that's my "snowblower "...engage the lockers, put it in 4 Low and just mash the throttle. blasted it through the snow banks around the mailbox to get that cleared up

Yes, at least there was - which is great for people renting, but not so great for people who are depending on rental income

Ok - probably Sunday and maybe tomorrow morning too, but I'll let you know. You don't have to make a special trip though - if you weren't planning on riding this weekend, we'll catch up another time. I should be up a few times around the holidays too

Sounds like I'm a winner, although Accuweather is still saying we're getting more overnight. Either way, I should be drinking beer with you fools in the lot one day this weekend

I don't know how much we got here but it's a good amount. Still snowing hard but now sleet mixed in. Just got done shoveling some and took the jeep for a drive Kid was excited to help shovel. That will change when she gets older

I almost always have my snowpants and stuff on - just need to boot up and get on my jacket/gloves/helmet. I'm the same way getting ready for work. I'll get together my lunch and clothes the night before. I'm out the door like 10 minutes after I wake up
