  1. Nice report. My only time there, a lot of the natural stuff wasn't open but I still really enjoyed it. If they keep getting snow, I'm gonna make a trip there this year
  2. Nice meeting you today. I hadn't been to Elk in at least 15 years. I'll try to make it at least once a year, it's an awesome mountain
  3. Yeah today was awesome. Great time riding with everyone....tons of great food and beers. Really happy to get a good day in yesterday at Greek Peak and then come to Elk today for an awesome day. Only way it could've been better is if I stopped to fish somewhere. I did bring a fly rod with me, but didn't feel like paying for a NY license yesterday
  4. Plenty of meat too...and beer...and donuts...and snacks
  5. Old forge pizza...thanks @rummy
  6. Guest at our halfway house party...interesting outfit
  7. It was pretty empty overall...similar to montage with the lack of crowds. I think aesop's glade was the middle mtn glade. Hit a few others, only one I remember seeing a sign for was alsos glade. There was a bump run on the east side that was really fun...urethra or something haha. Also, there's a creek running through the edge of one of the trails that I hit and wiped out
  8. We're back out on the snow. We'll be here for a while- we just stopped for a few beers
  9. I'm in one of the lower lots. Anyone here yet?
  10. I have plenty of beer and cups. Got cans and crowlers from Breaker Brewing and Beer Tree. I'll get donuts from Krispy Kreme tomorrow morning
  11. Yep. Miss the pasr group but great day here
  12. Aesop's glade and a ride on the oil rig lift...
  13. I wasn't in the house. Sounds like fun though
  14. Pretty empty for a weekend. Longest line so far was like 3 min. You'll like it. A little smaller than blue vertical wise but it skis pretty big. Good amount of trails and glades
  15. Variable conditions on the east side. Hercules (double black with the race team clogging it up) was bumped up and icy. Zeus next to it was bumped up but softer with some powder still on the sides. Did 2 runs on a power line trail...decent snow but I don't think my board enjoyed it.
  16. Got to Greek Peak around 8 15...did a couple runs on the black diamonds under the Express lift (iliad and whatever is next to it). Snow is great. It was cold last night passing by the mountain so I wasn't sure how it would be. Grooming was really good on the first few runs...heading over to the east side now. Looks a little more ungroomed but should be fun
  17. I do not know how to get to the halfway house...I can get there early and follow one of the PASR's to the halfway house though. I should be driving a blue Ford Explorer with a Penn State front plate...
  18. I can grab a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme monday morning if you guys want a nice healthy breakfast. Picking up a beer order from Breaker Brewing tonight on my way to Greek Peak so I'll have beer and cups for sampling. Today's firkin is a strawberry banana DIPA...sounds pretty good
  19. it was snowing pretty hard when I left for work this morning...222 was terrible - everything else was fine and turned to rain by the time I hit Morgantown
  20. I will not be in attendance this weekend but thank you for asking Douglas
  21. I'll be there - obviously I'll bring beer, but any other suggestions as far as what to bring are welcome.
