I think that first weekend in June is closing weekend. Was 85 here Saturday, chance for snow Wed into Thursday. My son really wants to get one more day in so I may be up there again.

Nope, that option was $1200. Got a regular shower rod. I will try and get the fanciest shower curtain possible if that makes you happy Shadows. I did upgrade on the mudroom, lots of hooks, shelves and a bench. Having a place to sit and take off your shoes is essential.

I am not and probably wouldn't have gone but I can't pass up a chance to spend time with my kid when he asks.

My son called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to Arapahoe Basin with him today. Weather was forecasted to be 45 and sunny. They are on spring pricing of $76 per ticket. I ordered one online the night before for $55.99. We got there close to 10am and it was pretty empty. First run was mid mountain back to base to warm up my legs since I have not skied in 2 months. Conditions were good at mid mountain but turned to shit half way down; icy crud. The rest of the day we did tums from top to mid mountain. That was he sweet spot. Considering it was close to 50 degrees it was pretty good. We were both sweating out asses off. He wanted to do some runs on Montezuma Bowl and I stuck with what I had been doing. Broke for lunch at noon *for Doug* I had bison stew, he had bratwurst. Both excellent. I took one more top to bottom run and called it a day. He went top to mid then up one more time and met me at the bottom. Conditions deteriorated a lot after lunch and bottom half was super sticky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I went to Copper one of the runs felt so long my legs were toast 2/3 of the way down. When I looked it up later it said 2300' vert. Was off one of those lifts, Super Bee or American Eagle.

Pho always sounds like a good idea and after 5 minutes I find it a huge pain in the ass to eat.

So Aspen just bought Intrawest. They say next year's multi mountain pass will remain the same. Not sure what will happen after that.

REI opening a store in Dillon. They will be at Loveland 4/15 giving out free lift tickets to the first 500 people if you want to snag one.

My son's friend from NJ is doing something similar. Him and his brother worked their asses off bartending at their family's very busy bar all summer. They are now renting a bedroom they share in Dillon and skiing Breck every day. They want to get 100 days in. They have also used their Epic Pass to do a road trip to CA and hit all the resorts along the way. Awesome thing to do when you are young.
