Just got back from TGR’s movie Rogue Elements. It was awesome. Several Jackson Hole sequences, one with mountain bikers racing a skier. Never seen anything like it.

I have the Rocky Mountain Super Pass plus. Good for unlimited Winter Park, Copper and Eldora. 6 days Steamboat, 3 days CB with no blackout dates. $500 when I purchased in May. Price up to $629 now. Also attending a TGR movie next week at Boulder Theater and they give you a free CB ticket.

Last year we had to wait a long time for snow. Last week it was 90 and now the temps have dropped. Highs have been in the 50's/60's. Mountain snow last weekend and another round Wed into Thursday. Crested Butte due to get about 4". Silverton is the bullseye with a foot expected. Patrollers were skiing Silverton the other day. I'm pumped for a good winter!

I am one of those people. If there is a place to go where I can where I costume, I am all over it. 2 years ago I did a winter welcomer hike with the 14ers group up Quandary Peak. I had hiked it in summer but not in snow. Everyone wore costumes. I made a "stupid sexy Flanders" costume (remember that Simpson's episode?) but it was a full body suit that was not practical for hiking. I had it in my pack to put on at the summit. But, alas, I underestimated the weather conditions, my feet were numb and I had to turn back about half way. There is a Halloween hike this year with another group and I am hoping I can make it and wear it.

I am still in summer mode too. Was in CB this week and woke up to 37 degrees, glad I wasn't camping. But looking forward to doing the women's clinic at Eldora again. Also checking out their new high speed 6. Blocked out a whole week for CB on the rental calendar. Hopefully life will allow me to stay the whole week.

Husband off this week so we came down for a few days. Starting next week it's open for rentals. I think it will get rented a lot so I probably won't be back again till fall. Summer is the $ season.
