What root said. 64 passed but won't take effect until 2014. From what I read the federal government can step in before that and shut it all down. If they don't, anyone over 21 can buy 1 oz of pot for personal use but can't smoke in public. You can also grow up to 6 plants in your house.
Our Sea Isle house did ok. Just damage to the garage, lots of sand, maybe some drywall replacement and some siding blew off. I consider that very lucky.
Whoops thought I was posting this in storm thread, o well
Thanks. This was my attempt at my first 13er (not as impressive as a 14er). Made it 3/4 up. Lots of snow, passed a guy coming down who said he was dumb for going all the way up with no spikes. Said it got really steep and icy. I thought it best to turn around since I had no spikes either. But the views even from the point I made it to were amazing. Definitely on my bucket list for next summer.
No clue. Heading to Winter Park this weekend just to relax. I think their opening is set for 11/22. I'll check out the base and see if anything is going on.
Co prices are rediculously cheap compared to Pa. I pd $419 for a rocky mountain super pass + which is unlimited Winter Park/Copper and six days at Steamboat.
I don't think you are human. You hiked Torrey's then went on a 16 mile mt bike ride? Yes, post pics. I've read about Centennial cone. Not super challenging but the length makes it a blue trail (from what I read). I've been sticking to the trails near my house. Found a nice loop off Eagle-to Lefthand into Niwot then back down 55th. Nothing technical at all but scenic 10 mile loop.
I know, I had to wait a good 10 minutes before I could even try to climb up. Before I took that pic there were double the amount of people up there. But what did I expect.....it is Saturday.
Second attempt at Bear Peak from another route. Finally made it to the top. But this route was longer, 8.4 miles and completely kicked my ass. Views from the top are amazing.
Last rock scramble to get to the top
