I snowboarded for around twenty five years before I skied...Been doing both for about ten years now...Didn't find it that difficult to make the switch...It's a lot of the same principles...The power of the hard boot and ski is pretty impressive after riding in soft boots on a board....but I would think an alpine snowboard has the same feel as hard boot/skis .....But I am far from a good skier...Skiing is super fun...but I still prefer to surf snow... I started on Lib Tech Wreckcreate 179s 98 underfoot... PX12 bindings Full Tilt Booters...

Firm conditions to start...Skiers R on main was the only place I could find that wasn't frozen....Once the clouds broke things softened up.....Last run down Razors was a winner..Super quiet for a Saturday morning....Non stop laps....Fun morning ....

Super fun morning riding with Jlaw and then a couple runs with Root...Some sprinkles on the drive up but cleared out for some great weather....Really good conditions most everywhere ...Raceway had some chocolate chips on it...Midway/Chute/Lower Main were fine....

Looks fantastic...Trips like that are so good for the soul...

Yea when I drove past Blue this am around 7ish they were blowin on a bunch of stuff...

Shop said no go on the binding adjustment so prolly new skis/bindings..

Lil better than yesterday cept for some dark spots with the reduced daylight in the am...Lift dogs for the win and @enjoralas came through as usual with some fine meats and shrimps....

Late night offer I couldn't refuse....Same size as my other FT..but has a shorter BSL..by 12mm....I know shit about bindings...Anyone know if that difference can be adjusted out in the binding...Really don't want to do a remount...would rather by new skis/bindings Any opinions on bindings...Mostly resort ...Maybe 10% off resort if that.... Out of the box they feel good...They're hella stiffer than my old boots....I'm psyched...

This was my last night at BC...It was super fun ....and going at night brought back some good memories....Well worth the price of admission...even with a subpar season....Good conditions tonight...Nice night to end the season here...

Up at BC tonight for some turns....Snow was a lil choppy and slightly crusty but still very skiable..Still holdin on with the coverage....I feel tomorrow may be my last time there this season..It's been a super good time being back there....

Was at BC from about 5 to a little after 6...Some pretty meh conditions..which surprises me cause most of the time it's good...Semi crusted chop...but some spots had decent stuff...Place was ghosted ....These next few days are prolly gonna be my last here....I hope they have the priest on call....

Excellent conditions just about everywhere....Low turn out kept things fresh for a few laps...Had a super fun time on the skis today...

That's a total baller trip....

Surprisingly well...But there are some spots a showin...I would say another week for sure...after that it might be just weekend openings....
