Some XC skiing through the hood this afternoon......

Super duper fun morning...Run down Switch..met up with PSUFly ...then down Challenge and over to Paradise to check out TCS..Ended up lapping TCS bumps till about ten.. I rarely drink in the lot but I had a beer and it was good...Thanks Mute!...The past two mornings have been a real treat....

Skipped it..Had an MRI to go to....

It was a Sunny D day....Lots of traffic on Bagdad Blvd going to Blue...Arrived just after nine...Saw @Benm truck but no one else..Met Benm at the sixer for two runs down Switch ...Little marbled up but fast and decent...Took a run down Paradise to check out CS...Looked OK so we rode the quad up....CS had some bee sting bumps on the red side and they rode pretty good....Didn't see a soul in the ditch...Looked kinda slick...Ben split and I ended up doing about six laps on CS...Then two Main street laps which were nice.... Temps were fantastic with lots of sun.....I just adore spring skiing....Split around 11 cause I had an MRI scheduled ...crowds were just starting to build a little then...Ended up seeing TP4 in the lot....Just a fantastic morning at Blue... @saltyant There is a sorta cool ski and snowboard museum in Stowe...Check it out if you have some time... I had a Backhill and a Snurfer ..My intros into snow surfing...I'm surprised I didn't die on that Snurfer

Short afternoon tour on the local GC to try out my new XC skis...The first kick wax I applied didn't really do much so I applied a softer wax and it seemed to help a lot...Kick wax is some really bizarre stuff..... The skis kick and glide nice ..even on slight up hills but the waxless skis do much better one the pitch gets a little more aggressive...Was just super fun to get out for an hour or so ..

Bravo gentleman....Love stuff like that...

Fun morning skiing with @Johnny Law today...Didn't take long for Razors and Challenge to get some mini marbles up top...Lower sections had very nice cord...Main Street was in fine shape.....Switch and Side had some crumbs on them but skied great...I suck at skiing and just about ran out of talent a few times trying to keep Law in sight...Big thanks for waitin for me at the lift... As soon as the quad stopped the second time the line just exploded...After JL left I took a couple of laps on the double chair(which hardly had any wait time)...Sun,skiing and some slightly warmer temps made for a great morning at Blue...Tomorrow am will be good...

The road from town to the resort is easy.I had a mail drop in Stowe proper on my LT hike and I had to hike back to my hotel near the resort cause none of those elitest front platers would give me a ride...Only time I ever got skunked trying to hitch in VT...

Can you see if they will let you add a day or two?

Fun XC trip through the woods at Penn Forest with @mbike-ski after riding at Blue....Looks like they had gotten more snow than Blue did..Snow was light and fluffy.....6 degree temps and super windy but hella fun...

Today was a good day....Two laps on the Red Star ditch and then one on the capitalist side...Many laps on Side taking the Chamonix route ...Never had to feather the brakes on Switch....

Blue lookin legit....

Prolly both days...and Monday am....Fingers crossed for tomorrow...

I don't know anything about ski set ups since I ride a split board, but I've had good success with the G3 Alpinist/universal skins...

Is there a Khrushchev route on the Marx side?...lol

Fun times at Blue today...Upper Main was buttery smooth....Lower Main had some marbles...Lazy and Switch were in good shape..Some good rollers on Side... Did eight up and down laps on the XC stuff....Good time in the lot with everyone while enjoying @enjoralas fine delicacies.... Uphill track...

Super fun morning at Blue today...Was on skis today for the first time this season..Lapped Switch and Side a couple of times..Both were in great condition....Lotta marbles on Lazy...Paradise was just OK....Put the CC stuff on and skied up and down the beginner triple about five times....But damn... that ice in the lot.... Big clusterfuck tryin to leave....

I would imagine a lot of stuff reaches critical mass at temp.....

Looks fantastic..place is usually empty..........but shiiiiit skinning at Montage??!!
