lets not forget where we live. i think the past two years would be considered way above average years in snowfall and below average in temps, anything off trail with any kind of pitch to it will require some snowmaking assistance to make it skiable more often then not. I still like trees though.

Accuweather has their 45 day outlook. look for considerable cloudiness with mixed snow and rain becoming snow or flurries at night for Friday November 13th. They have also just released a map for that time period, so be prepared.

John will probably be able to confirm this, but my take on these devices is they are basically a tablet, without a screen. TV = screen. i think you can download apps on it from google play. So, if there is an HBO GO app for android, i believe it will work.

Ok, so the association between zoomtak and Droidstreamtv has me confused. Droidstream just sells the zoomtak box?

So, kinda bored yesterday and looked into this briefly. i believe droidstreamtv is not the only game in town for this, but feel free to correct me if im wrong. i think anything that supports the XBMC/Kodi platform will do the trick. I did even read a short piece that you can get this to work on the amazon fire stick, but i think someone has to jailbreak it or something. Where is TTC6 when you need him? And why did my font size just change? Been Seeing alot about El Nino this year. Whats it mean for us? Who fucking knows, and people tend to leave out the awesomeness that is skiing in NEPA whenever talking about El Nino snowfall. i dislike long range forecasts. If you are doing the family thing, Lake Placid is going to give you more in the way of after ski stuff. Lake placid is pretty cool. There is very little around Gore. Its kind of in the middle of no where. lodging choices near Gore are pretty limited. Depending on how many days you really plan to ski, i would ski whiteface, stay in lake placid your last ski day at Whiteface, drive to Gore the AM of your first ski day there, stay around Gore 1-2 nights, drive home.

Definitely go to Gore. I really like Whiteface, but a week might be a bit much.

The 6.7's are a better engine. they did actually figure out how to get better than 9 mpg like the 6.4's got. i still dont know how the average person justifies buying a diesel truck unless they tow something heavy on a regular basis. Diesel is what now, like a 10K option? you would need to drive quite a bit to recover any savings on fuel over gas. I'm looking at making the switch to dodge trucks. Really the only way i will get back into a Ford is if they start buying back our trucks at retail price.
