There are days, albeit rare, when the falls are so heavy that you can see / hear them from the parking lot. I've seen it like that once or twice. It's pretty cool to see water spewing from the top of the mountain.

They're known for their wooden coasters. Walk into the park... also for free, eat decent food and not overpriced crap. And it's in the woods.
