Amtrak to Burlington was my second visit to UVM with my mom after I was accepted there.

Anyone ever take Amtrak to killington? I did 12 years ago, but didn’t take it to rutland and instead got off at Fair Haven station, which no longer exists. That station averaged 6 passengers per day, which believe it or not is not even close to being the least used Amtrak station (some stations average less than 1 passenger per day). Fair haven station was 0.9 miles from the VT border, so I didn’t even ride in Vermont for a full mile ive also taken Amtrak to Burlington Vermont, it took hours longer than driving. I had always assumed passenger rail was on a 4ish track ROW with overhead electric wires. It was weird going on a single track, no over head wires, in a passenger train thru the rolling fields of Vermont. At one point there is a pullover for one train to let other train pass. In CT we had to switch from electric to diesel locomotive

I wear the cage (amazing to me that each team has that one guy who still wears an open face helmet) i didn’t notice the mask at all on the ice, but did notice it on the bench.

Had hockey last night after the 2 week county mandated Covid break. We were required to wear masks even while on the ice, which was surprisingly not bad, by the half way point of the 1st period I barely remembered it was there.

I was shocked how crowded weekday mornings were at blue last season. There used to be like 7-8 people for opening, now there are like 50 people on a weekday morning

We will have to agree to disagree. As long as I live I will never stop believing the rioting/protesting/looting/celebration is the main reason we have Covid so bad. For months we’ve been told to social distance, but suddenly crowds of tens of thousands are ok? How does that make sense? With all due respect, using your logic we can say lockdowns are completely useless, as Europe had socialist style complete lockdowns and are still getting ravaged by the virus. Also, there have been riots in Europe. I also posted an article showing a girl wearing a mask at a protest and still got Covid. It’s very stressful that my ski season could be affected due to selfish people. I’ve been acting responsible during this yet my life is at risk cause people wanted free Nike’s smh. Also, I find the attack on families offensive. Seeing family for thanksgiving bad...running around the streets yelling and spitting everywhere good. The double standards are ridiculous and reek of political motivation
