why isnt jeff giving us aspen TR's? 2 days at Ajax and we have heard nothing

i didnt pay attention to time that much, but i think it was like 3 hours and 15 minutes. on the short part of the mountain, if the quad is running you can probably get a run in every 6 minutes. also depends what part of mountain you are on. ill be on a time crunch thursday so i can get a better idea of runs

Question...how bad is traffic typically on 78 going from 476 to 33 on a weekday morning? 22 will be out of the picture thursday morning, so wondering how bad 78 gets. i could take 476 up to 80 to get to CB, but that seems out of the way. thanks

i could be wrong, but i was under the impression that cut has been there for many years fun day yesterday, more people there than i thought there would be. 10 runs off east mountain, 1 run to get over to lodge, and 16 runs on other quad

well played salty

Hell yea man come through. FYI I can only ride for 2 hours
-
Ya my fault it was a get in the car and decide on the way up type of decision
-
Leaving CB now. 100% open. Will be riding here for free on Thursday and Sunday

Update on power outage pushed back til noon. Looking more and more like montage
-
Ya I'm keeping my eye on it. Montage is plan B and Boulder is plan C
-
Power outage at CB, update at 10 am lol. Good thing I slept in.

a few hours ago they posted a video in a comment showing light drizzle at the mountain. i think it was to prove to us that it did indeed rain there at some point
-
a blue passholder posted a pic on blue's facebook of their son sitting in front of the Camelback camel lol
-
ya, we dont really have any leverage cause we will all be back next season. still, its almost comical at this point to see how much they just dont give a fuck. they are literally advertising on facebook a post for season passes (season passes they made up a fake quantity for) that is located in between a post saying they are closed today despite no rain, and a post saying they are closed sunday despite minimal morning rain. as soon as they got all of us to re up our passes, they shut the mountain down lol

I have to say, Im intrigued by this whole new "Piss off your loyal customers" approach blue is doing the past few weeks. seems opposite of most customer service approaches i know, but hey, maybe blue is on to something and college kids will be doing case studies on this new approach in the future
-
not saying your wrong, as I have only been there once in the past six years. however, when I was a season pass holder there, i remember the east side quad constantly closing for anything...low crowds, 2 hours til closing, rain, wind, ice, it was too cold out, etc. Everytime i would drive the access road i would be worried that lift is closed as it services the 3 best runs on the mountain. my day there this year, i was worried the whole drive up, was happy to see it spinning, then they closed it 4 runs later lol
-
lol. i used to think Blue and CB were neck and neck for 1st and 2nd best in PA, but i hadnt been back to CB since 6 straight years of being a blue pass holder, it wasnt as great as I remembered, and I had to knock it down to third best in PA with elk bumped up to second. i still like CB though, and sunday could possibly be my east mountain redemption as they closed it after 4 runs when i went back this season. i certainly don't miss the anxiety of driving up the access road and fingers crossed to see the east mountain quad spinning
-
im curious what it will be like to see you at a mountain that isnt blue. the first time we met was actually at BB
-
I might have to give PASR's a CB tour on Sunday, as I'll be the only PASR there who doesn't hate the place (unless enjorales, ski2live, or salty joins us, I think they likes CB too)
-
Blue wants to close so bad lol
-
Welcome to the board!

I had a real nice morning up until my last lift ride where I was informed this would be my last blue run of the season. Kind of made the last run a bummer lol, but great conditions and a beautiful morning. Fun time riding with mute and root.
