  1. Hopefully PennDOT gets out prior and treats the roads.
  2. Sounds like it's going to be a spicy drive up tomorrow morning. Calling for freezing rain....sucks!
  3. They already have. Announced it last night.
  4. That was the helicopter flying around last Sunday. They landed outside the Summit lodge by Barb's office.
  5. Next good snowstorm, I might have to do that!
  6. Very warm night, felt like spring skiing. The bumps were hero, so I kept lapping them until I headed up to meet the wife at the 70's party. When I rolled in, a MedEvac helicopter was circling, but due to all the busses in the employee lot, it looked like it went over to the fairgrounds and landed there. Two ambulances rolled out and headed that way as I was walking to the slopes. Rumor was that someone overshot the second jump and landed hard enough to knock themselves out.
  7. His accommodations didn't give you any ideas?
  8. Yeah, but there's no park!
  9. Who? Salty?
  10. That's happened more times than I can remember this season alone, albeit they haven't been girls.
  11. Just be sure to ski behind him!
  12. At least the retention ponds will get a bit more full...
  13. Only because I won't be there...
  14. NM/DW. I know that titty-deep Pocono powder anywhere!
  15. Not in the bumps.
  16. It's for the gravy!
  17. But real-time TRs are accurate!
  18. I will initiate a conversation if it's just me and another person and gauge the interest in continuing the conversation from there. If they're not into it, so be it. Otherwise it makes the ride up go a bit faster.
  19. I just figure they rather not talk to an old man, so I keep my mouth shut. But if they initiate conversation, I'll freely run my mouth.
  20. I was pretty impressed last night when I got on the 6 with two high school females (keep your minds out of the gutter please!) They actually initiated a conversation with an aging old man, uh, wait. Hmm... I'm not a grandfather yet.. Where was I going with this? Oh, and they kept the conversation going the entire lift ride!
  21. Bring them over here and to Blue! We'll see just how sturdy they are.
  22. I just randomly pick which icon when I think a post is good.
  23. Snow was freaking good, soft and fast. Bumps were DEEP, but mainly in good shape except for a few icy spots here and there to keep one on their toes. They had Terrain Run closed with rough grooming of recently blown snow, so you had to do a little pike over to Central Park, if you came down that side. They fired up the guns on Challenge about 8:45, but with a steady breeze blowing out of the Northeast, most of it was blowing back at the guns and over to Mount Mik; might get a dusting to an inch there. Glad I was able to break away and whip out a few runs before the weather starts going downhill for a bit. Hopefully it doesn't impact the snow too much for the weekend.
