  1. We lapped Razors, mostly skier's right, which I thought was ROTD, Definitely a thigh-burner day! Hit up Slopeside for some beers, bowl of chili and fries during the sleet-storm. Came back out to it snowing again and more excellent conditions. Saw GSS ski down Chute beneath us while on doubles.
  2. I'm not chancing it, parking at summit. Keep your turns tight and leave some fresh for others! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. NOAA has issued a blizzard warning now. When are the winds supposed to crank up? Big storm last year, we got screwed going to the valley, as they had both the six and quad on wind-hold. We ended up driving right back up to the summit (in ski boots) and riding the doubles until the winds dropped enough for the detachables to operate.
  4. GNAR points for cooking in the lift line!
  5. Appears as though we're in the bulls-eye...
  6. I don't recall the timing of that one (it might have started later in the morning), plus it wasn't expected to produce as much as it did.
  7. Hopefully Blue will post something on their FB page. I'd hate to start out and fight to get up there, only to find out they're closed.
  8. I was thinking the same thing...
  9. Snow Emergencies are already being raised starting at 5PM today!
  10. "Could"??? Interesting prototype tool being tested... http://www.weather.gov/btv/winterseverity?id=PHI Question is how long to ride the storm, as it's supposed to continue into Tues. night with blowing/drifting snow. Smaller townships, etc. won't be able to keep roads open, so getting BACK home is gonna be the problem...
  11. Leave something for next trip! We never made it to Jupiter bowl. Sounds like you had a great trip regardless!
  12. Tarpon might get another good one at MRG.
  13. He did that too and also did Slatington with an ex-marine... Keith's party house gets rowdy AF!
  14. Subie is itching to drive in some deep snow!
  15. It was so bad in the morning, from the base it looked like they seeded bumps on it! Must've been a quickie groom job...
  16. Tarpon did that once, but I think it was up in Jim Thorpe..
  17. Tarpon was providing beer delivery support too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, but he's not a poster (that I know of) MBike was there providing beer support as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Pretty disappointing turnout in the mogul comp by PASRs... I believe I was the only one reppin' PASR. I should be sponsored! I actually "won" a pair of mogul skis at the apres party.
  20. Just started snowing down here a bit ago, starting to cover the lawn. Damn work! I hate you!
  21. I've driven (unfortunately) back home from Vermont in a few blizzards as well in my subie without problems and no snow tires either. Can't count the number of times I've driven up to Blue to find numerous cars stranded going up Mountain Drive. #nofriendsonapowderday Nothing here in Hellertown either. Checked the webcams and saw a groomer go by, snow falling in it's headlights!
  22. A few days after the storm, many of the faces had a bunch of avy craters on them.
  23. Nope. However, the one day we were running the traverse, we could see the remnants of avy grenade discoloring the snow.
  24. They're avy controlled, if that's what you're asking.
