  1. Yeah, the 6-pack definitely picked the wrong time to go down. With the race going on it looks terrible on the webcams. We've moved to slow lifts as soon as they stopped the 6-pack, hoping that it wouldn't be for long, but they've never brought it back up, so we ended up lapping Main St + Burma until noon. Burma lift was spinning all the time, but what's crazy is that they periodically just stopped loading it. People would pile up, they'd temporarily start loading Burma, but as soon as lines become reasonable, they'd stop loading until it gets crazy again. A-m-a-z-i-n-g. It seems like BM just enjoys the sight of huge crowds on their mountain, so let me post this webcam shot for posterity.
  2. Wow, things must really be bad with the 6-person quad.
  3. I'm just happy they don't own any gas stations. Imagine me asking for 10Gal and getting 10L instead... And yay for the tallest mountain in PA.
  4. Their stat management is great! They've just cleared my account so apparently I've been skiing only since 03/07 this year. And for today they show 21 runs with 22105 vertical meters? Whoo-hoo!
  5. Like that = like what? White? Buttony? Clean?
  6. COVID is tough, but together we can be tougher! United we can defeat this virus. Disinfect your keyboards daily! Let's not be the reason we lose our season...
  7. Today's snow was excellent. I haven't encountered any ice, it was very edgeable, and overall skiing was mostly smooth and fast except for Lazy where it was on the contrary slow and well lazy. Best trails for me were Paradise and Switchback, especially after sun hit it and where I stayed after the crowds went insane, management had their breakfast and finally opened Burma lift. Speaking of finally, I don't freaking get it! It's 10am, great day, already crowded and clearly gonna be crowded even more, and they're running only one slow lift. On top of it when somebody complained, the response from the liftie was: "well, go ahead and fill out job application". Just WTF? Props to the BMR team. They at least know how to ride lifts. Today was a race day, kids labeled Jack Frost, etc showed up, some riding quad like Jerries, two at a time. Come on! You have your own express line, show some respect.
  8. At least they turned on Burma lift. At 10:20. Idiots!
  9. Well, skiing the same mountain over and over can be called boring too. At MC there are three peaks (if they have enough snow to make connections). And what, like all the places you've listed are offering a full pass in the range of $279?
  10. You're gonna miss me if I do. But it's an interesting option. Belleayre's charging $369 for its limited pass with some blackouts. MC+Bell=$648.
  11. Conditions were varying today. Rollers on Sidewinder were quite surprising, luckily it was sunny. Challenge absolutely sucked, it's like they meant to prepare it for luge competition. Razor was the very opposite of it. Paradise was kinda crowded and full of red jackets, once I saw how they were taking skis off of someone who I guess came down closed Coming Soon. Switchback and Lazy had decent snow, but Lazy had a few annoying slow spots right after the turn, which were getting worse and worse as the day progressed. More cars than I was hoping for at the opening, but lines were never a problem until noon when I had to leave anyway. So yeah, good day today.
  12. Oh, boo-hoo, MC is too what? Boring? Crowded? Close? They have exceptional snow this year, which comes as no surprise, thanks to weather. And they don't seem to be doing price gouging either.
  13. They never disappoint.
  14. Batman, just go and fuck yourself. And I don’t need a copy paste to tell you that. RidgeRacer, I sincerely apologize for this outburst in your thread.
  15. On a scale between JF and BM, how fast is it?
  16. An adventure! Salty, send us your coordinates so that we could feel the excitement as well!
  17. Thank you. This is an excellent proof of living on a globe.
  18. Oh shut up, it’s almost dinner time.
  19. Don’t forget that you have another $50 saved on BM season pass. But I doubt they’ll have anything you could use in North East. So make sure to lock up your precious while you’re demoing.
  20. How are your RTMs doing? Ready to debunk the myth that they’re not Utah-worthy?
  21. Wow, this has almost as much of snow as Coming Soon on its opening day. Grate stuff.
  22. You won’t believe it, but some people may actually not be inclined to ski in rain. Now, in regular years they’d simply stay home even if slight rain was in forecast. This season there are penalties attached (I was able to reschedule earlier w/o any, but at that time forecast was calling for a real monsoon). Seems like reservation system may be dragging people out on days where they’d be happier not to ski, and esp. not to wait in long lines in rain. But today the mountain is deserted, so IDK how valid these theories might be.
  23. I wonder if people are really this snow/rain hungry, or Blue simply refused to issue refunds...
  24. @saltyant, where are you renting?
