  1. I heard that "Barb's Bush" has been left ungroomed. NEW PAGE - YYYYEEEEEEEEAAA!
  2. A bald eagle was hanging out in my neighborhood yesterday.
  3. Wish my Nana was around to make Biscochitos, Tamales and Posole with. Good for you getting in a visit. See everybody on Sunday!
  4. No go for me. Flying to New Mexico this afternoon and helping my mom move this weekend. Enjoy!
  5. Saw in the news that Massachusetts recreational dispensaries (the first 2) are open for biz.
  6. Lower Main is getting some love this morning! Fingers crossed!
  7. We'll see what's crackin' when we wake up tomorrow and check the cams. Fingers crossed. I was expecting to see ski patrol setting off avalanche bombs and ski cutting the top of main street by now!
  8. Seems like they should be able to connect come round - midway - lower main street with 2 1/2 solid days of snowmaking. That's fun enough for me to make the drive. Just Vista = nope.
  9. I had to park in a nearby neighborhood and run like hell through 2 developments and jump a couple fences to pick my kids up at the bus stop. Traffic was stopped on the main road that leads to my neighborhood and I had only 5 minutes until the bus was to arrive. Of course, the bus was late and I probably could have just stayed in traffic and made it.
  10. My medical card just arrived in the mail today! Woo hoo!
  11. What days are you planning for? I need to book a few for myself as well.
  12. Climbing up that rock face in ski boots carrying skis = NOPE
  13. Once our kids are grown we are definitely going the teardrop route. Our stupid neighborhood won't let us store the 20 footer in our yard or driveway so I pay $60/month to store it at an RV place. You might look into that, because although you have to pick it up to use it, you never have to drop it off when it needs service (glass half full). And unfortunately even tow behinds tend to need a fair bit of service.
  14. 2 years ago in Taos, my friend needed patrol to bring a ski down from the middle of Kachina. For whatever reason instead of hiking up for it he slid down about 400 vertical feet like a penguin. The point of my story is, that he tried to give them some cash and they laughed at him (even harder than they were already laughing because of his gaper move).
  15. I recently switched to a money clip and there's no turning back! I realized all of a sudden i was sporting the "costanza" wallet and noticed that I only really need to carry 4 or 5 cards and hardly ever have a huge wad of cash. The clip fits in my front pocket easily and reduces the bulk which is nice.
  16. Yep. I think they got a huge storm a couple weeks ago, then it dumped another foot or so recently. She said the mountains all the way beginning in the southern Sangres (Santa Fe) all the way through Pagosa were much whiter than usual for this time of year.
  17. My mom sent me these from Wolf Creek over the weekend. Looks like spring!
  18. I could have kept going, but I was taking major pressure from the wife and kids. Of all the battles I could pick to win, this was an easy L to take.
