that "dope" was a 12 year old kid who is part of Freeriders.... which is trying to teach them to call their drops when they are in the park... which he did, and not to come ripping through and cut people off when they are trying to learn new things. other than the rain.. today was good

the park was really nice today... it was sick. rails were set-up perfect except for the battleship box which is always a ride-on mess. skiercross was rediculous today. i got 3rd in my 3rd heat so i didnt make it to finals (they took top 2) but it was still pretty sick. the course was surprisingly good since it was build by Ed's House (who sucks at life). i was a huge fan of the 20ft gap...

thats super lame man. they favor the locals like crazy up there and its so freakin lame. if you arent local you might as well not go. last week for snowboarders 15+ the winner fell twice on both of his runs and STILL WON... why? local of course... who got 2nd...3rd for skiers?

same here... i have a pair of my friends skis to use to the skiecross tomorrow since they actually have edges...

if you are planning on hitting the park... tomorrow isnt the day to go because its going to be closed a good portioon of the day for the comp.... but if you are riding on regular trails you will be fine..

i havent had any problems with that at all and i have had my fair share of odd landings... i think its fine. its all mental.. you think its closer than it really is and it freaks you out.

i think i might want to try Nastar sometime.... i never thought i'd say that.

Blue has been blowing for at least 36 horus straight right now... and last night i think they were blowing on the park... i hope.

anybody know where i can get a cheap brick of ski wax? i really dont feel like spending $40 for a brick of wax right now. any suggestions? stores? online? stolen? anything...

i have never seen you in the park and i have been to Blue over 40 days this year. i think that you pretend to board and really dont. but i caught you. you cant fool PASR anymore. but seriously... where the hell are you?

i got yelled at again yesterday for skiing switch... even though it was better than anybody else was skiing on the trail and i was in complete control carving turns around all the people that fell.... i dont thnk it is necessary to yell at somebody unless they are out of control

tonight was raelly good minus the random patches of ice. the fresh snow that fell helped out conditions but it made the rails really slick and i ended up dying once or twice. everything in the park was set-up good again but the wind on the top blew me off the rail a few times and i think i was only able to hit the jump once or twice because of the wind... probably heading up tomorrow after i get some work done for school...

yeah and they can have fun trying to keep a park open longer than other mountains with those "significantly warmer" temps.. so tell him to enjoy it now until it closes and then come to Blue

i have gone up everyday for the last week and it was been great every day. if you are going to ski the park dont go at night because no mountains park in PA is good at night because everything turns to ice. but if you go up during the day it is always perfect. i'm going up after my lab around 2:30 so hopefully its good for a few runs before highschoolers and ski clubs start to roll in. and yes, it is 100% better than last year

just ride it. mine get rusty every day after im done skiing. it has no effect on anything because most of it is gone after your first run or the first rail that you hit.

yeah that was me. conditions were really good today until all of the highschoolers got up there... around then it started to get kinda icy. park was good though. and i actually saw ski patrol yelling at a kid for skiing across a landing, but thats because some kid came flying off of the 35 footer and landed on him. its about time they say something though... its a start to making the park a little bit better.

they got about 3 inches of snow and a little freezing rain. yesterday was AMAZING. and the park was perfect. probably the 2nd best day this year. anybody going up today?
